... when in reality it grants severely limited powers to federal government.

The Constitution also does not grant powers to the federal govt. Read the DoI.

I see a lot of parallels to Clinton/Starr here

That's because you base your observation on:

attacking the investigator's misconduct in hopes that people forget you are alleged to have committed a crime

which is a faulty assumtion.

... and then Scaife (Rutherford's main financier and rabid Clinton hater)...

Anybody who hates Clinton can't be all bad.

There were lots of allegations not from the White House,

SS. Those "allegations were from clinton sycophants.

just as these are currently allegations.

SS. These are backed by evidence. As the clintons sycophants were not.

From pressuring witnesses to perjure themselves, to conflicts of interest including personal and political business.

SS. Yes that was what the Clintons were found guilty of!

The best one was the Rutherford Institute hijacking the Paula Jones suit which was not doing well, handing it to Starr, and then Scaife (Rutherford's main financier and rabid Clinton hater) setting up a chair at Pepperdine for Starr when he's done with the case.

SS.Nothing ILEGAL THERE! BTW Being a Clinotn hater is a GOOD thing. And if you think not, as evident by you responses, you don't belong here!

Quite clearly, they were. However, they did not for some reason rise to the level required for removal of an independent counsel, although other other ICs have been disqualified in the first place for less.

Yes that was what the Clintons were found guilty of!

Uh, only one was found guilty of perjury. The other was exonerated (damn!). Of course, him being guilty lets Starr off the hook, right? The ends justify the means?

SS.Nothing ILEGAL THERE!

Highly unethical (coming from a supposedly super-ethical man like Starr), and such conflicts of interest would normally disqualify someone from such a position.

Being a Clinotn hater is a GOOD thing. And if you think not, as evident by you responses, you don't belong here!

Hate is bad. Disagreement and working in opposition is good.

Possibly faulty. You don't know any more than I do about his intentions. He is attacking the prosecutor, and he is alleged to have committed a crime, so I have two facts in my favor. However, my assumption in "in hopes that people forget" does fit with the pattern we are seeing.

Just someone who doesn't care for your two parties' vendettas against each other. Can't take Clinton down at the voting booth? Do it through an IC on a fishing expedition. The DUers are trying to get the same thing done to Bush now, and they'll probably redouble their efforts after he wins reelection this year. They might even succeed. The only loser is our country.

Although there is a positive side to any impeachment -- for a short while the congresscritters won't be writing more laws to further expand government and erode our rights.

Funny, I don't remember a treason conviction. Given the depth of Starr's fishing expedition, you'd think he would have brought up any charges related to treason if he could have.

He took money from the PRCA. That's treason in my book. So did Algore and apparently so did John Fonda Kerry.

Clinton got Ron Brown to approve of technology transfer of ballistic missile guidance technology and MIRV technology to China. That's treason.

Clinton is the lowest slime sucking scum to ever walk the earth. My fondest wish is that he be brought up on charges, tried, convicted and hung by the neck until dead for treason. It would be one of the best things to happen in this country in a hundred years.

Educate yourself. Downside Legacy at two degrees of Bill Clinton. This is likely the largest archive of information on the Clintons, particularly BC, that exists.

No because there was nothing to attack. If this SA is replaced another will take over and continue. There is zero question that this case is being treated differently.

Clinton lied to under oath and was disbarred same as anyone else. In this case, a user case is being treated completly different than all other user cases.

Besides the Bar usually burries these cases. Unless there is a spotlight on them they will probably not let it go further.

Here are my thoughts on the issue of Bill Clinton.

Just for the record, Bill Clinton at a White House staff meeting regarding the IRS going after Kenneth Starr said the following.

"I can do any G**D***** thing I want. I'm President of the United States. I take care of my friends and I F*** with my enemies. That's the way it is. Anybody who doesn't like it can take a hike."

Uh, folks, this is definitely not someone you want to take up for if you want to get in good with conservatives. Certainly not on a conservative website like this.

Again, why didn't Starr do anything? He'd already shown a willingness to stray very far from his original investigation in order to get some dirt on Clinton.

That's not to say Clinton wasn't a sleaze for cooperating with the Chinese so much, among other things. We'll have to wait and see what concessions Bush gives to China, what with Neil being paid millions by Jiang Zemin's son for apparently not much real work. The Bush family is pretty tight with the CP group, too. Looks like nobody can refuse their cash.

Ridiculous. Typical DNC talking points.

Why don't you give another one of your lectures on how sexual promiscuity among young teens is good for society?
