"I honestly believe Kerry is a shoe-in for president.

Of Syria."

I don't think we should try to send Kaptain Ketchup to Syria. We could be accused of crimes against humanity. To inflict a scumbag, like Kerry, on the poor people of Syria would be an atrocity of the worst magnitude.

Isn't this just about the most incredible thing you've ever seen? Wonder what's going to happen when the Jewish community get ahold of this.

We need some New York and Florida freepers to make a copy off the website and distribute them to the appropriate places.

I'm hoping it's true; and, yes, I do think he's arrogant to do something just like this!

John Kerry is asking for support from a terrorist nation? Am I reading this right? This borders on treason, IMHO.

"I see no reason to believe that this e-mail was written with Iran in mind. It's typical Democratic boilerplate."

"I found this same letter posted here. It was an open letter to Americans abroad posted by the steering committee of Americans Overseas for Kerry, one of the groups on the Kerry campaign web site."

It is apparent, then, that the Kerry campaign did not compose and address this statement to the Mehr News agency or the Teheran Times. Either somebody in this American Overseas for Kerry group sent out a circular e-mail, including Mehr out of ignorance, or Mehr (or the Teheran Times) pulled the statement from the Kerry group's website.

Accordingly, Senator John Effin' Kerry is NOT guilty of addressing treasonous e-mail to a member of The Axis of Evil that undermines our national will.

On the other hand, the Kerry campaign and its supporters ARE guilty of issuing a statement which is so pandering and appeasing to our enemies that the enemies feel compelled to promote it and shout it from the proverbial rooftop.

No, it's not treason. But it is utter stupidity. And not a little anti-American.

I agree Praire, I'm stunned! To make this kind of statement during wartime to another country .. if it's not treason, it's too close for comfort to suit me.

You're right .. and that's why this email would be bordering on treason.

Just goes to show what a bunch of leftists they are. As if anybody in Iran gives a sh** about the "Kyoto Accords".

Say...Kerry needs to talk more about the Kyoto Accords. He needs to talk more about yoking U.S. security to the whims of the United Nations, the International Criminal Court, etc. That will go over real well in the mainstream. Not Kerry's version of mainstream...the real mainstream.

Didn't Kerry have prostate cancer? What is the prognosis for his future? Anybody know?

His future with respect to the prostate cancer is just fine and dandy. Good Lord, I hope you weren't having "hopes"!

Kerry is beatable on the issues and on his record. His health is not an issue.

Good point. And this isn't the only story of this nature to recently appear in this newspaper. I checked the tehrantimes.com web site to see if they've run anything else on Kerry recently. I found this article in the February 7 archive: Senator Kerry Would Seek Direct Talks With Iran: Adviser.

This story also didn't get any play here in the U.S., as far as I can tell, but some people in Tehran seem to be paying attention.
