I voted yes. Lesser of two evils.

I don't care for Bush. I hate Kerry more than Klinton.

Though I am against massive deficit spending and for smaller government, I will support Bush.

This issue will be upon us sooner than you know. My prayer for the Nation is that only the Man Jehovah Gira wants, will be seated at the head of this Nation after the National Elections. While the Presidential Election always tends to be the focal point the real raw boned POWER rests in the Congressional Elections as to where the Nation will end up. The true "Will Of The People" is played out in Congress.

It is my hope that if current conditions do not change; that a Viable third party comes about in time to determine if it actually has the support in the time remaining so a vote "FOR" is not thrown away! I am a Conservative Extradoinaire, open minded and ready for action, that living today demands. This once meant I was a "REPUBLICAN" plain and simple because it said you were a "Conservative". Unfortunately the times and things change and are in constant flux. If I can I will vote for the candidate of my choice If not someone will just get my vote but I wll do my civic duty, protesting all the way down and back if necessary! If I continue to see Illegal Aliens stealing my Birthright then I will do what has to be done because unlike them I have sworn Allegiance To The Constitution and have worn the Uniform Of My Nation and will defend it to the Death!

I will vote for President Bush. Doing anything else helps Kerry win New Jersey's electoral votes. But I am not confident Bush can carry NJ.

I'm not 100% happy with Bush--there's the medicare free drug boondoggle, campaign finance reform, and bloated federal spending--but he has done some things which John effen Kerry would never do:

Bush cut personal income taxes, cut taxes on dividend income and cut out estate taxes, at least temporarily.

Bush has made a brilliant start fighting the war on terror. Al Qaeda is decimated, and all the tin-horn dictators who would otherwise be inclined to harbor terrorists and/or incite jihadists against America are on notice that they could end up sharing the fate of the Taliban or of Saddam.

He has appointed several judges who just might be inclined to respect the constitution.

We need to re-elect Bush, and hopefully add a few Republican Senators, so that those tax cuts can be made permanent, so we can continue to win the war on terror, and so we can pack the federal bench with sane judges.

Bush, because that nimrod Kerry wants to return to the "pre" 9-11 way of dealing with terrorists. Gees, Louise, we tried that crap for over a decade and all it got us was a few thousand dead, a number of buildings destroyed, hundreds of business and residents displaced, a telling blow to our economy, the still struggling tourism/hospitality/hotel industry, a four disintegrated airplanes, and a boatload of civil liberties invasions.

He cannot be that stupid and walk upright, but some folks are suggesting he run the country?

Bush, all the way!

OK.
So, lets see if I have this right.
Some of you on this conservative list are contemplating NOT voting for the most visibly, VIABLE conservative candidate. And the reason(s) why?
Because he spends more than any previous Republican president (although less than any of his competitors are likely to spend).
Because he MAY extend the AWB (or not).
Because he had the sheer audacity to suggest that we look at immigration reform (although you can't really call it a proposal yet because he only threw out a couple of ideas (kinda like a trial balloon, dontcha think?)
Or maybe because he hasn't (yet) gutted the NEA (either of them).
Ouch!
And what would your alternative candidate be?
Sit it out?
Fringe loony?
F'in Kerry ?!?

My path is clear. Bush in '04 because he most closely reflects my interests, values, and concerns. I read elsewhere that the potential fallout for GW's more moderate policies will likely fall to the future of the Republican party, not Bush himself. I'll vote for him because the alternative is unthinkable. If he does the things some of you THINK he MAY do, I will be disappointed. So much so that I will likely walk away from the party altogether. But I choose to give the president the benefit of the doubt.

I'm not thrilled with everything Bush has done either, but...

Does it occur to y'all third party or sit-out voters that if we gave Bush more of a mandate via a strong popular vote* , that he'd be more free and likely to be the president we want?**

*While still voicing our conservative agenda and critique when he falls short...
**Not that even freepers can agree on what we want...

If I was an "oppressed minority", a homosexual, an athiest, a single mother on welfare, or some other kind of creep, goofball or parasite I would vote for Kerry. But I am not any of those, so why would I vote with the Democrat base? Gotta vote Bush.
