I don't believe the anger should be directed at President Bush alone. Congress makes the laws and appropriates the money. The Democrats water down the bills and add their pork and for some reason the republicans let them get away with this in order to pass it. Bush has the right to veto anything that passes his desk and yet he doesn't.

I'm not a Bushbot as much as I was after 9-11 but I'll pick him over the chuckle heads running against him.

I couldn't agree more with your statement. It's become ad nauseum on FR, and the bashing far exceeds positive posts on President George W. Bush. The Democrats are loving this. President George W. Bush has done a fine job under the horrific circumstances which he's had to govern.

Your first sentence attempts to demonize, literally, those who think the current orgy of overspending is a bad idea.

I just think THAT is a bad idea, and that your post is unnecessarily divisive at the very time when we need unity and not divisiveness.
