The ones that pelted the US team in 2002 were most likely 2nd and 3rd generation immigrants, they are the ones that are causing the majority of problems in the US. How can I make that statement? Being one myself and being raised around them

Wow American football fans throw bottles and snowballs. I don't streotype the actions of some drunk sports fans to a whole people like you do.

But you keep on posting. The more you post the more ridiculaous you sound, IMO.

It would be like chanting to the Japanese "Pearl Harbor! Pearl Harbor!"

WE have a difference of opinion then. I take great delight at Mexico getting their A$$ kicked esp. when they disparage the US anthem, say Osama and throw urine bombs on anyone cheering on the US. There are some folks who really really do not like Mexicans but they wouldn't have come to this thread.

"The hyperbolic and xenophobic remarks shown all because of a soccer game shows your racism shining through and go to your own political party, you aren't welcomed in mine."

Hey! Dane just admitted he was a democrat! :)

I started out being angry that they chanted "Osama." But the more I think about the overall picture...I am beginning to think that we are going to "buy" Mexico. We will not be paying a purchase price per se but buying the state through an "in-kind services" scheme. (It's a theme successful in the non-profit organization model.)

Securing the northern half of Mexico does a great deal for securing our overall borders.

I've never known a time when the DIDN'T hate us

What's with this "us"? IMO, they probably didn't like you, and with your attitude I could see why.

Lets give the Mexicans in Zapopan a real reason to boo the U.S. - lets send about 10 or 15 million of their brothers and sisters back to Mexico to help them boo.

" but this thread is illuminating to the animus, hyperbole, and knee jerk logic of the Mexican haters that peruse on FR, IMO."

No knee jerk logic, hyperbole, etc. I lived amongst my people, I know what we are like. Can you say the same thing? Knee jerk logic is sudden, I have known how my people are, most likely longer than you knew about problems involving hispanics.

"The US fans should have chanted back 'Alamo, Alamo!'"

No, because that was, after all, a defeat for us. Better to yell "San Jacinto! San Jacinto!"

LOL! But Philly just shut down Eagles' Court this year. Apparantly, the patrons of the Linc aren't as rowdy as the patrons of the rat-infested Vet.

Canadians are not against you. Some do not agree with the grounds for invading Iraq many others of us do and support Bush. Americans and their media are also split on these issues. Are you saying the dead guys that just got shipped back from Afghanistan are worthless too? I assume you believe they died because they are against you.

The Mexican crowd hooted "The Star-Spangled Banner." It booed U.S. goals. It chanted "Osama! Osama! Osama!" as U.S. players left the field with a 2-0 victory.

These are the people that President Bush wants to come to America by the millions to take our jobs?!

The President is losing the WOT with his amnesty plan for Mexican lawbreakers which will encourage millions more of these OBL lovers to come to America and become citizens.

Our own National team won't play against any Mexican or Central American team in California after this -

Are you sure about this? The article is kind of old and LA does have the new Home Depot Center.

Kinda tough for US soccer to play a "home game" in Kali. Don't some Mexican first division teams actually play regular season games in LA?

But nothing is being done to change it or protect us from our enemies. SECURE THE BORDERS!

"Neither do the English soccer hooligans, and I guess you stereotype all the English as having no class."

Ah, Dane. All FReepers know you are an apologist for illegal Mexicans. I have no use for thuggish English soccer fans, either. But the English do not hate us like the Mexicans do; the English are not trying to take over our country like the Mexicans are seeking to do; the English do not insult us and spit on us on a regular basis like the Mexicans do; the English do not come here illegally and then commit vicious and heinous crimes against us like so many illegal Mexicans do.
