I don't believe this has been mentioned on any of the posts but CBS could have easily "cut away" from Jackson's breast revelation. There is a seven second delay on live television. So for CBS to say that it was unaware, and implying that there was nothing they could do about it, is patently false. They could have easily cut away if they had wanted to.

Not really.
He blameds it on a warddrobe malfunction. Which fits with what Janet just said. Sure, they planned to rip away the outer garment but he accidentally pulled the inner one off too.
