Hi All! Just wanted to stop in and pay my respects to the men and women in the military. May God bless them all.

Spent too much time bent over a puzzle yesterday and am having muscle spams in my back so I'm not able to FReep today. Should be back to normal by tomorrow (I hope).

Sorry to hear about your co-worker (((Dansy)). Atlanta has alot of crime, I had some close calls myself back some years ago.

We ask Lord, that You guide the leaders of our great country in their hour of decision. The burden that has been placed on their shoulders is overwhelming. We ask that with Your infinite wisdom You guide them gently to the right decisions.

Please give us the strength, Lord, to get through each difficult and devastating day that faces each of us and our country. Protect and guide our Military that are now being called to duty, strengthen them in their trials and temptations; give them courage to face the perils which beset them; and grant them a sense of your abiding presence wherever they may be; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Subject: The $20 bill A well-known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a $20.00bill. In the room of 200, he asked, "Who would like this $20 bill?"

Hands started going up. He said, "I am going to give this $20 to one of you but first, let me do this. He proceeded to crumple the $20 dollar bill up.

He then asked, "Who still wants it?" Still the hands were up in the air. Well, he replied, "What if I do this?" And he dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. He picked it up, now crumpled and dirty. "Now, who still wants it?" Still the hands went into the air.

My friends, we have all learned a very valuable lesson. No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value. It was still worth $20. Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way. We feel as though we are worthless. But no matter what has happened or what will happen, you will never lose your value. Dirty or clean, crumpled or finely creased, you are still priceless to those who DO LOVE you.

The worth of our lives comes not in what we do or who we know, but by WHO WE ARE. You are special - Don't EVER forget it Count your blessings, not your problems.

Never be afraid to try something new. And remember: amateurs built the ark .......professionals built the Titanic.

Where has everybody gone? I've been so caught up with "saving the theater" and meeting with politicians I find myself with only enough time to read the headlines and post a few prayers. Looks like everyone else has drifted away to other pursuits also. Just be sure to be here on Friday. So.....how are you doing Sistah? Everything staying balanced? Been praying for Pippin's Dad. Asked God to send him an angel. I miss you.

I agree about the half-time show (which I didn't see either). I sent protests to CBS and the FCC. Guess I wasn't the only one. Heard that the FCC is going to investigate. Hope they slap a hugh fine on CBS.

My dialup isn't too bad, but this evening it is exceptionally slow for some reason.
