I can't take Imus in the morning or any other time of day. Despite his cowboy hat and guy talk, when I saw him in an interview w/his wife and child, he was completely tame, even metrosexual.

I saw Wyatt in the studio with Imus and Chuck a couple weeks ago. That was a rare moment, I was waiting for Wyatt to blurt some obscenity. LOL

I can't stand to watch Imus anymore, not because of the show itself, but because MSNBC goes to commercial way too damn much, often interrupting some often times interesting moments.

Isikoff needs to take pointers from Howard Fineman.

I would have agreed with you....until this morning. I was up earlier than usual and heard Fineman on Imus.

Imus mentioned seeing Howard with his kids on the campaign trail and how they admire their dad. Proud papa Fineman then launches into how his 17 year old daughter thinks Kerry is the "right" choice for dem nominee, but his 12 year old is for Dean because of all the anti-Bush info available from his campaign. The kid uses it in schoolhouse arguments with the son of a Bush adminstration official.

I got the feeling the 12 years old especially was anti-Bush and pro-Dean due to paternal influence.

Hand over to the new Iraqi gov't is supposed to take place by end of June. Nothing has been said about a pull out of Troops. Like Korea we will be there awhile, I don't think we will be there for decades like in Korea, but for several years at the very least. Same with Afganastan.

June is only the projected date for turning over soverignty to Iraq .. but the UN says it may take until then to hold elections .. so it's not certain yet.

But .. that doesn't mean we're leaving Iraq .. it means we will pull out of the city areas and let the Iraqis run it. Hopefully .. they can. But if they have problems, we'll be right there to help them.
