heh heh heh... I was born and raised in central Indiana - way out of grits country - but I must have a little southern blood because I really like grits. Mostly what we have here is the instant kind which is really OK by me, but I've had just enough REAL grits to know that there is a big difference.

Hats off to the South. We wouldn't be where we are today --controlling both the executive and legislative branches of the federal government -- without your tremendous help. Meanwhile, the liberals run their great plantations of the North where everyone who doesn't leave the liberal bastions of power becomes an indentured slave.

I've been saving this.

For the Super Bowl, I'm cooking up Alaskan halibut, dipped and fried in North Carolina hush puppy mix. With a side of baked Canadian goose breast and sweet squash.

Southern and northern American cuisine all mixed together get along real well.
