His slogan should read "Vote Kucinich, cuz Chomsky isn't running!".
What a funny group of people.

"What's the word? Disenfranchised. That's me." I guess disenfranchised isn't always such a bad thing. What thinking person would want a bunch of dead-heads running this country.
Fun article to read.

"I vote Green, or I write somebody in," he said. "I'm pretty much a nonbeliever." Asked what that meant, he said, "What's the word? Disenfranchised. That's me." "I vote Green or write-in, but I am prevented from voting."

"I don't even remember what we did in Cleveland," Huber explains. Driving a Mystery Machine across the country under the influence of magic mushrooms, acid and weed will cloud one's memory.

What a funny group of people. What a tragic group of people. Others similar to them have been perfectly willing to kill millions for the peace they crave, and will do so smilingly.
Note the citation of China and North Korea as success stories: Mao murdered over 20 million people to achieve his workers' paradise; in North Korea today, people starve while the great leaders try to build a nuclear arsenal.
Regards.

What a funny group of people. Not so funny if they happen to live in your community. Eventually they are successful at electing someone like Ron Dellums or Fortney "Pete" Stark to high office, and we all suffer. Dellums (a communist) rose to the level of Chiar of the Armed Services Committee.
To: TheGeezer
That's it exactly. They're all 'Peace, love, dope' right up to the point where they have some power, and encounter someone they don't like.

Points taken. While I find many of the quotes amusing, the underlying message and opinions are not. Living in Dallas, I don't see many of these sorts, and certainly don't see many of them elected to any meaningful position.
Now Austin is another matter altogether...

A friend emailed me this link for finding out which candidate to vote for:
http://presidentmatch.com/Main.jsp2?cp=main (On my score sheet, President Bush got 100%, and Kucinich 11%; what a hoot! You have to leave the party affiliation blank to get a score of all of the dwarves as well as President Bush.)

See, they're not always wrong!
I particularly like the guy who complained about the cost of government - because he has kids to support - at a rally for someone promising free college tuition. (Not actually free, of course, but paid for by the productive through taxes extorted under threat of violence - and this from the candidate who claims to be for 'peace.')

Whatever, at least they believe in something, the worst thing to hit this country is apathy, and its not like they have a chance of winning.

I see your point. My youngest sister is the poster child for apathy (which is way too common in her generation) and it bugs me also. But I can't say I prefer somebody who has thought it all over and decided that Communism is the way to go. My youngest brother always claimed to be a free thinker, yet he still walked around Austin with a "Che" backpack. Is that really what you prefer?

"The second thing that hits you is the aroma of marijuana. Not the "Dude, want a toke?" variety, but the "No, officer, we just went outside for some fresh air" kind. "
What's the difference?
