I used to grab mine by the ear when I was being ignored. Sure fire way of getting their undivided attention fast. She's none the worse for it.

That would entail respect and not calling people names. In another thread, the person who wrote the article ruined the historical presentation by calling white people racist dogs and demanding reparations. That kind of language puts people on the immediate defensive and any cooperation/discussion is lost before it even starts.

"Irony of ironies, MLK Day was celebrated on Robert E. Lee's birthday" This is by design, I'm quite sure. The idea, at one point, I seem to remember reading, was to eclipse the celebration of the Confederate leader's birthday.

"The Academic Freedom Coalitiion of Nebraska has contacted the parents and offered support if the parents want to pursue this." I hope they do, not because I believe in all these ridiculous lawsuits, but because you have to speak to the PC tyrants in a language they can understand, and their common language is litigation. We have to start fighting fire with fire.

"Therefore, by the laws of the Iriquois Nation I'm full-blooded Iriquois" You are absolutely right, although in some nations it is through the maternal line. By that definition, I am Cherokee, even though my ancestry is predominantly Dutch.

If, as MLK stated, that people should be judged by the content of their character rather than the color of their skin, he should be a legitimate candidate.
If he was punished because of the color of his skin he should own the homes of the school administrators that issued the punishment. I think the Feds should launch a civil rights violation investigation over this one.
Lastly, where the hell is the ACLU?

"That would entail respect and not calling people names" Decent people will show respect, and there are always those who won't, and no amount of PC will change that. Better the enemy that you know than the one who is hidden. Just because someone is pressured into keeping his opinions to himself doesn't mean they are changed. In many cases, it fuels resentment to feel you have to keep your mouth shut about what you think. I'm not for name-calling, but I'm not in support of artificially induced "respect" either.
I like your home page. You're very pretty. No wonder Laz is hitting on you.

"(I don't even think there are any tigers in Africa, are there?)" Yes! (I didn't know either, but I did some quick peeking on the internet.)
"Another recent release claim which has also generated some concern is that of the proposed Tiger Moon Sanctuary in South Africa. The plan involves the introduction of tigers into South Africa. Readers should note that tigers are not naturally found in this part of the world and never have been; this common belief is a myth.

These people need to GET OVER IT!!!!! As I said on another thread, I wonder if these same school administrators would be just as outraged if someone proposed that an Arab student originally from North Africa win this award?

The PC clowns will continue to talk because they like to hear their own pseudointellectual mumbo jumbo. I just do not listen to them because negative people are depressing.
Hehe... thanks for the compliments... I like Laz too but I don't want his lady coming after me!
Just let me know when Arkansas wants Hillary Clinton back. K? Sooner rather later....

"I don't want his lady coming after me!" Oh, don't worry about that; he's likely to have changed ladies at least 3 times before the day is over anyway. LOL!
"Just let me know when Arkansas wants Hillary Clinton back"
She don't belong to us. She's rightfully Illinois' bitch native "daughter." We have enough problems with our own spawn of hell her husband.

That's what you think of all black America? I would hardly describe black people that way. You're welcome to your opinion but I disagree with you severely.

"Heartwarming to see that black race baiters" Black race baiters suck. But not all blacks are race baiters. Similarly, white race baiters suck. But not all whites are race baiters. That's how I interpret that sentence. And I think you're pretty too BTW.
