You haven't even handled the ones I posted. Now, go do your homework and try to post a simple rebuttal.

I didn't make the claim Tex, you did. Only 28 more to go. Blackbird.

Yes, as a matter of fact I do, but I've ran across you before and have learned you're a waste of time. It would take a vice of gigantic proportion to pry open that narrow mind of yours and frankly I haven't the means nor the desire.

As PF noted, you're just a nuisance --- a gnat in need of swatting.

I know that it is diffcult to find someone who's as dense as you appear, so I can only assume that you play dense for attention. Pitiful.

Since your posting numbers there "peeshooter", would you mind posting how much the overall government grew under Reagan?

How exactly do you intend to mislead with that? The majority of government spending is entitlements. It's the discretionary spending that politicians have control over (GWB can't veto someone's SSI check, or medicare payment), and that's what is growing so fast under our 'unified' government.

If you'd bother to identify the difference of 2.5% under Clinton (the GOP Congress forced Clinton and the Dems to lower Medicare INCREASES and took a big political hit for it)

Medicare isn't listed under discretionary spending. You're barking up the wrong tree.

Sorry that you've got it so wrong. I'm saving my own money for my retirement. I know that SSI is doomed to reduce payments and increase taxes. I just wish the politicans weren't depriving me of the additional 12+% of my income that I could also be saving.

You at least got that right!

Soc Sec is a bogus program taking 6.2% of every dollar earned up to $87,900 for 2004 and matched by the employee or paid at 12.4% for the self-employed (although the can take the 6.2% self part as a deduction).

Medicare is even a bigger rip off since Clinton's 1993 tax rate increases uncapped the income level so every dollar earned is taxed at 1.45% for the individual and matched by the employer and 2.9% for the self-employed (again, they can deduct the 1.45% on their income taxes).

Now, compare that to anyone with a simple 401(k) capped at 5% of gross income and matched, usually, at half that by employers. The 401(k) deduction is pretax for both FICA and Fed Income tax. Then take that growth in savings of a true asset based system to the ponzi scheme of Soc Sec and Medicare and you get nothing but a promise.

But you have to admit, Bush is the ONLY candidate and President to even propose changing FICA into an asset based program.

The 30 examples can be located by tracking Southack's posts, but your time will be wasted on BSTT. I am too tired tonight, or I'd provide BSST with a link, so I'm heading to bed.

Nitey-nite, yall.

More one liner personal attacks, but no substance. Help Tex out. I'm here all alone, you are many. Surely between the 3-4 of you, you can come up with 28 more examples of Conservative moves from this Admin. Stop with the personal attacks and post some facts. Blackbird.

I didn't say it was, I was just pointing out that the GOP Congress takes hits for trying to reign in spending. I wasn't clear, sorry.

I'm being attacked by the Sand Man sir, my typos are running very high so I must rest. But before I depart, thanks for the great support and we need your future background to counter the goon-squad and their rhetorical lies. I swear, they lampoon the same toxic waste as the DNC.

Hope to see you out here again soon.....(PSYCHO)

why choose any 'evil' at all Because it is a silly cliché' that has no practical meaning in the real world and especially politics. Every United States President from George Washington to George W. Bush has had some element of “evil” in their make-up.

I'm reminded of the words of those great poets of our time, Rush (the band, not Limbaugh):

"You can choose a ready guide in some celestial voice / If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice / You can choose from phantom fears and kindness that can kill..."

Sorry, Tex, as much as you might want to believe it, it's not true. Some people can learn to live within their means.

You're still dodging on exactly what welfare rolls you're on from the federal government. No suprise I guess, maybe you're ashamed of being on the take, so you want to justify it to yourself by saying 'everyone is'. Are you even ashamed of it?

I'd rather you showed up at my door and tried to take the money out of my paycheck for your welfare payments instead of doing from the comfort of a voting booth. There'd be a lot less thievery in a world like that...
