Thanks everyone.
I think our fair-weather FRiends are watching WAY to many DEM's and their brainwashing propoganda on tv lately! The old adage "if you say it LONG enough and OFTEN enough people start to believe it".... is true!
Once the President has ONE candidate to run against he will start to counter all this.
You wouldn't think he'd have to "prove" himself to his base like this. Not considering what has happened to our country since he took office.

One would think some would have learned a lesson from those days

BINGO! That's what baffles my mind. Are memories really that short? Amazing isn't it?
That the Dems can pull this off AGAIN, and so soon! And that there are those in the conservative BASE BUYING IT!!

I'd love a Freeper's eye view of the protest. Greenwich is my hometown, and I've had a few jaunts to the atrium cafe at the Hyatt since I became an adult. :-)
Heck, Matt Lauer should be there, since he was GHS Class of 1975 (like me and about 900 others). Guess who our graduation speaker was? Jerry Rivera!
Maybe they'll all get stuck on I-95 and head to Portchester instead for underage beer.

Excellent post and a bump.
Simply said: A Democrat president will NOT be acceptable - or survivable - in 2004.

Love your tagline. Hadn't heard that one in ages!
Funny how quickly people forget what this President has gone through, what this country has gone through, and all he has accomplished in such a short time, isn't it?
Strange how they forgot who got us here too. It took 8 long years to get us in this mess. But people think it can be fixed overnight. 3 years *is* overnight considering all that has happened.
Oh, and that Patriot Act, boy.. all those friends of mine that are locked up with their rights being violated. You've heard of all the atrocities being committed against innocent citizens haven't you? </sarcasm
What I've heard of.. is that we've stopped a few cells from possibly causing further damage in the post 9-11 period. What I heard is that we dried up a lot of al Queda money. Dang shame, huh? </sarcasm
You would think we have a *million agents*, with nothing but time on their hands to go around harrassing innocent Americans, from all the rhetoric you hear against the Patriot Act.
A lot of people like me and you *do* get it. But there are a lot of conservatives (well, they call themselves that, but I don't believe it for a minute).. who are buying into the Democrats mantra, and now even marching to the same drummer. President Bush is evil, President Bush caused this economy, the war, he is evil, not Saddam, not terrorists! Next we'll be hearing he flew the planes into the WTC's!
Amazing!
Take care FRiend. Lets just pray to God that our President will win this next election. Because he is seriously fighting a fight that the whimps that were running the country for 8 long years left him. To the dismay, ruin, destruction and DEATH of a lot of innocent Americans.
I can't imagine any of the Democratic Candidates running this country, not in these dangerous times. With the successes that are happening, and the dominos affect it is having on other terrorist sponsored countries, why in the world would people make a change at this time?
Time will tell if Americans have lost their collective minds!

Local paper seemed to give more news to these few malcontents than it did to GWB's appearance. It figures. Nor did it say how many protestors were there. WELI radio said 200. Big whoop!

Typical huh? The *media* in general are *liberal*.
They are owned by large conglomerates that are owned by liberals.
Which explains the bias.
Lets just hope people get out and vote, and that people who are conservative QUIT being brainwashed by the rhetoric coming out of the mouths of the DEMS. To include republican lawmakers. If THEY don't like what the President is doing, don't pass the bills!!!! KNOCK on his door!!
Same goes for Conservative voters. Instead of complaining,.. sitting on computers and sending worthless E-MAILS.. WRITE LETTERS!! Make phone calls!!
But people on this forum are saying they are going to stay home instead of voting, and I say that is a slap in the face for every troop who ever died so they COULD vote!
Because that kind of thinking is going to get a DEM elected. And then that DEM is going to appoint a COUPLE liberal Supreme Court Justices. Which will affect us for YEARS to come!!
How idiotic is that kind of thinking?
There is a Congressman Pence who suggested just that.. that people just not go out and vote!!
Anyway.. I guess all the brainwashing is finally paying off. Because there are some on this forum who are bellyaching about this President all the time.
Personally, it makes us both sick!
That they can't look at President Bush's overall record since taking office, at everything that has happened since he took office, the fact he kept us out of a depression when we were ALREADY in a recession when we were hit, then at all his and our successes (meaning the troops) and our nation as a whole after succeeding in TWO WARS in SHORT ORDER (despite what Carter, Teddy Kennedy, Kerry, Dean, Sharpton, Gore, Clinton's, and others like them say). Then perhaps those people belong to the wrong party and need to register as Democrats.
Like you said, the media would rather show a few protestors than the President of this great Nation. That is the image they want shown around the world.
Nice image huh?
