I don't have his website . . . well, just a minute.

Here:

http://www.kimclement.com/words/words.htm

He has predicted accurately the improved economic situation; Bush's vindication; the capture of Saddddammnn and some other things.

Some people are outraged at him because he's not been totally flawless in his person or predictions. Though, I think, his more recent stuff seems to be on the mark.

I don't know of any credible, authentic Christian prophet who has been perfect in character, personality and flawless in predictions. I know of some who've become greatly more so in the last few years.

I also don't know any who've spent 40 years on the back side of the desert getting their character and hearing purified, refined etc.

When I have questioned a number of characters, The Lord seems to insist that I should be discerning and wise about what I believe to be from Him--to always ask Him about whatever I am weighing. But that I should be very careful about judging someone who HE HAS DECIDED HAS A PURE ENOUGH HEART IN HIS SON'S BLOOD FOR THE FATHER TO APPROVE AND COMMISSION, ANOINT for WHATEVER office HE sees fit to annoint them for.

And, HE usually cautions to particularly discern the heart vs looking on outward appearances.

I just know that watching Kim Clement worship, I'm touched deep in my spirit and encouraged toward more intimacy with God myself. I know from what I know of The Father and Jesus that they absolutely delight in the sort of worship Kim seems so chronically inclined toward and gifted in.

And, I try to be very cautious about throwing rocks at anyone God delights in.

Please see my post #102 above about Kim.

I think it's extremely easy for folks who have

1) not been called to a prophetic office and tried to walk in it . . .

2) have wholesale biases against any such being possible in this era . . .

3) have a theological, reference group and personality set 180 degrees opposite such folks

. . .

to sit in caustic judgment.

Certainly we do well to see whether someone's pronouncements line up with Scripture and whether they come true or not.

I personally have no trouble with folks learning to become the prophet God designed them to be through very painful trial and error--as those I know have endured. We ALL see through a glass darkly. Even the BEST 100% accurate prophet PROPHECIES ONLY IN PART, SEES ONLY IN PART as St Paul made clear.

Prophets are responsible to speak the truth.

James 3:1 "Not many of you should presume to be teachers, my brothers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly."

Anyone who claims to represent God needs to be extremly careful what comes out of his mouth. The message cannot be deluded by "trial and error".

I saw Kim when he was in Nashville. I wished he would stay in the word and get away from the sensationalism.

I have a lot of . . . sympathy with/for your perspective.

I have decided to treat Kim as I'd want to be treated and to try and have a similar charitable attitude toward him.

GOD has persistently through history

CHOSEN VERY ODD BIRDS OF RARE PLUMAGE with plenty of strangeness and clear flaws.

AS often as not--it has SEEMED--such as with ST Paul and perhaps Daniel--that THEIR PERSONALITIES were PART of GOD'S message. In other cases, it's as though whatever detractions their personalities brought to GOD'S MESSAGE--GOD didn't seem to care that much about it else He'd have corrected it--having plenty of power and wisdom to do so.

In any case, watching Kim worship--even on TV is close to sufficient confirmation to me of the authenticity and kosherness of HIS HEART. Given that God encourages, exhorts me fairly strongly to look on the heart and not appearances, I'm happy to extend as much Grace to Kim as I'd want from him were the roles switched.

No, the Germans are most likely referring to the ersatz Bin Laden who has been leading Al Qaeda in Baghdad, since the demise of the original model.
