Guess it was the "hair" that did it.

The hair, the circumstances, the flawed quasi-alibi, the timeline, the very strange behavior of Scott in reaction to the loss of his wife and baby, the color of the maternity pants on the body, and above all the INCONSISTENCIES in what Scott said to other people, including the police.

I certainly am not capable of arguing Scott's case and would not if I could, but I do have questions: re:

the color of the maternity pants on the body

The smoker who saw 2 men with a pregnant woman and a dog in the park--didn't she say the woman had on light maternity pants, or am I just plain mistaken? Incidentally, the timeline being pushed by prosecution (re the cell phone calls SP made at 10:08), hasn't or isn't that being questioned?

I'm still ready for a panel of judges to hear this case and skip the jury.

I remember Laci's friends being very cautious about what they said to the media. Even the Rochas were unbelievably restrained.

I wonder at what point in Scott's life he made the decision that he would never want children? Then I wonder if having a mother who gave most of her children away was a mitigating factor...

Why did the elderly guy who punched the other not make a plea bargain?

I happened to catch just this part of the trial the other day. Nancy Grace was saying that she thinks it was a big mistake for the guy not to accept the plea bargain. I guess the DA offered 1 year in a medical facility and they turned it down!

These are great questions. I think the prosecution is going to present a narrative, supported by witnesses, of Scott & Laci's relationship (i.e., how did this particular couple end up in this situation). Bits and pieces - little things said to various people as well as observed behaviors - will be tied together in such a way that the jury will understand the dynamics of the relationship.

I think so too. Plus Scotty has proven to the world that he's not too bright. He's made alot of mistakes that we've already heard either from his own mouth or at the prelim. I'm sure there are plenty more mistakes and evidence that we don't know about.

I mean he couldn't even keep his own "alibi" straight...."I went golfing..er, I mean fishing...then golfing, but not golfing cause it was cold, and then I was shocked to find out it was cold when I went fishing too.

I agree with your point about Scotts mother giving children away. Scott learned early that babies were disposable!!

That's EXACTLY what it is - putting the bits and pieces together to complete the puzzle. Peterson has made so many mistakes it honestly makes him look dumb. However, I don't believe that Sociopaths are dumb, on the contrary they are quite smart, but they are so used to conning people and getting away with their misdeeds, that they become over confident, and therefore careless.!!

That really sounds like it MUST have to do with civil liability. If he had pled guilty, then the plea of guilty could have been brought into the civil case as proof that he did it.

And while one year of his life doesn't sound like much, maybe the fact that he is in his 60's or 70's, maybe to him, one year of what's left of his life was more than he was willing to give. ?

I think you are mistaken. We could look for the transcripts, though. My memory is that the smoker said the woman she "saw" had on black pants and a white shirt.

Remember, too, that it came out at the preliminary that the smoker had actually gone on her break at something like 9 or 9:30 a.m. At least, I remember that there was a glaring discrepancy of about one hour, regarding her alleged sighting.

Yes, on that lame site, I saw where they are claiming that the cell tower near Laci's house is (according to them) off regarding its times. I would like to see if they could PROVE that.

I don't see how that website is going to get many hits, with that attitude at the forefront. And I thought that's what websites wanted... hits?

I went to www.nsi.com and tried to see who owned that website. But I'm a neophyte when it comes to finding out such things. The owner showed up as "TUCOWS, INC." That is some sort of web-hosting service. I wish someone who really knows how, would see if they could find out the actual person or entity behind www.scottisinnocent.com.
