I think we all need to stop paying taxes and then when they come after us, demand Amnesty.
After all, it's our money paying their Salaries.
Geezus christ American wake the hell up.

We have a Constitution and it is up to _us_ the citizens of this country to make sure it is followed by our elected officials.
Lets get some ideas about how to enforce the Constitution. We cannot give up!

I have not seen the memo in question. However, it is true the some agents have been assigned the task of interviewing aliens to see if they crossed illegally because of the new amnesty.

Thanks. Ask around, would you? I'd like to be able to confirm or refute this report. It's damning, if true. However, it is true the some agents have been assigned the task of interviewing aliens to see if they crossed illegally because of the new amnesty.
Interesting. Are there written survey questions? Protocols? Can you get your hands on any of this?

The survey contains 13 questions. Among them:
"Did rumors of amnesty influence your decision to enter the U.S.A.?"
"Have you been to the U.S.A. prior to this incident, legally or illegally?"
"Do you plan to apply for amnesty if it is offered?" The answers are sent to U.S. Customs and Border Protection headquarters in Washington What's up with this? Sounds like a Frank Luntz focus group.

Sheesh!
There are no details to be silent about!

Outrage? You are a master of understatement.
I spent twenty years as an Army linguist and learned to curse fluently in several languages. Despite that, I find my entire filthy vocabulary inadequate for expressing my outrage.

At least the administration honestly calls their amnesty an amnesty when talking to illegals, again showing more respect to the invaders than to they do to American voters.

U.S. border patrol agents have been told to ask a series of questions when they capture illegal immigrants, including whether the immigrants have heard of President George W. Bush's proposal. According to a list of talking points distributed nationwide, border agents are "not to talk about amnesty, an increase in apprehensions, or give comparisons of past immigration reform proposals" when talking with the media.
Could someone ping the "Non-Descript Instant Powdered Drink" imbiber crowd, and ask them to explain if it isn't an AMNESTY, why does the memo say not to MENTION an AMNESTY?!?!
Or is this memo "Racist" or "NAZI propoganda"?
Funny...does anyone else get the feeling that this memo is directed at ONE border in particular...and maybe ONE language, since BP agents don't tend to have Farsi, Chinese, et al linguists in the field (to my knowlege)...I do believe the majority are trained in a certain language though...beyond English, that is.
Now who could this be aimed at? Hmm...so much for "Amnesty" being directed at ALL Illegal Infiltrators...I believe I have detected the Hoary (or is that Whore-y) hand of one Karl (Don't call me Marx) Rove and his Trilateral-Triangulation strategy!(L'il sumptin for the Rah-Rah crowd to call me a DU-er over...lol!)

Talk about conjecture! So the following was beyond your comprehension then?!
The memo, prepared by a public affairs officer at Customs and Border Protection headquarters in Washington, D.C., also gives these instructions: "Do not speculate about the program. Do not provide statistics on apprehension spikes or past amnesty data."
An agency spokesman said the note was meant to prevent confusion about how to handle questions on the president's proposal. He said statistical information on apprehension numbers will still be available, but only through headquarters.
So an Admin spokesman confirms it, but you will not consider that you may be wrong?!?!
The "Agency spokesman" calls it a proposal...but the memo talks about past AMNESTY! I woner why?! Who might be "confused" about the President's proposal...maybe the ILLEGAL INFILTRATORS?!?!
Helloo????!!!!!!

This is an outrage and a stab in America's back (but not surprising). Again our tax dollars will be spent to accommodate Mexico. Ways to protest:
