I agree. The implosion would have been much better if it occurred in April, after he had sewn up the nomination. Or say, even next Fall, when competing against GW.

He still has a chance and perhaps he will prevail in NH. If he doesn't in NH, then he's toast and it's probably Kerry who will get the nomination. W can beat Kerry, no doubt, but it would have been much easier and more fun going against Dean. I also relished the thought of that 49 - 50 state landslide!

For instance, "Dallas" in the 80's jumped the shark when the big cliffhanger resolution over "who shot JR" showed that "it was all just a dream."

I think you are referring to the "Dream Season" after Bobby Ewing was supposed to have died. But it was definitely a Shark! moment. JTS is a fun website, but you can definitely tell that more leftists hang out there due to the rants and language in many of the posts.
