Does Mrs. Yehuda feel the same way I do about installations (she's in the gallery biz, right?)? Sheesh, they were cliches in the eighties. Every art-school senior and master's candidate has to do one of these gigantic wastes-of-space now, as a graduation requirement. It's ridiculous!

Yes, I understand that the artist may have been misunderstood. The following is a text that was evidently near the installation. The artist Dror Feiler is said to have been born in Israel, and runs the Swedish organization Jews for Israeli-Palestinian Peace. Despite his protests on NPR the day before yesterday saying that he was critical of the suicide bomber, I have my doubts. He thinks there is some explanation other than Arab racial intolerance for Jews behind suicide planners' rage against Israel, their genocidal commitment to the utter destruction of an entire people -- one bomb at a time. Israel is just one small place within a massive mideast region with much territory that could be used instead by such a small group of homeless Arabs, yet the Palestinians are financed to terrorize Israel by their wealthy brothers in Saudi Arabia, Syria, and muslims in Iran. The rage is ideological, much like the German Final Solution was.

Read the placard, if it really is an accurate rendition of it, and decide for yourself if the artist is "objective." For most Jews, objectivity was gone the minute the PLO admitted that it wanted to drive them into the sea. Hitler used that kind of language. So did Stalin. The results speak for themselves. This exhibit continues to cry out against the Jewish people, at least in my estimation.

Hanadi Jaradat was a 29-year-old lawyer

Before the engagement took place, he was killed in an encounter with the Israeli security forces
and she ran over sharp stones and through thorns
