As I see it, the country's political parties have already changed. Conservative/Reagan Republicans are no longer welcome in the GOP. Zell Miller Democrats are no longer welcome to the Dem Party. As far as I can tell, the Bush, Rove, and GOP are vying for the title Democratic-Republicans while Hillary, Dean, and old DNC are vying for the title Socialist Progressives. Remaining DemCons like Miller either retire or go Democratic-Republican. Conservative Republicans are told to go pound sand with their fists, or begin process of starting new party as the solution.

It's the way of the world. It happened with the Federalist Party and The Whig Party and it's happening again. Nothing new under the sun.

US will not accept full-scale socialism so the new DNC will not be a player anymore. New party to be player will be from right so that two parties will continue to exist, not three as some imagine. JMO for what it's worth, seems arguments on FR between CINOs and conservatives represent a prelude for future two party political rantings and inevitable split.

The view of the future is unfolding before our eyes.
