I have four teen boys and none of them listen to,dress like or act like black gangster rappers. Why ? Because the first time the oldest tried to buy a pair of baggie pants the answer was NO and it was explained to him while the rest of his brothers could hear, all the reasons why.

I would think you have to be very strong-willed to properly raise four teens these days. I suppose it would also help to be living in a cabin in Alaska rather than a Brownstone in Brooklyn.

I went over to the article on "suspension". Whew! It was a wincing read to say the least. In fact I glossed over some of the gruesome details. This excerpt caught my attention, mind you he has pierced his body and suspended ONLY by those piercings:

"Over the next thirty minutes I managed to kick one after another of the books from under my feet. At last I was standing on tiptoes with about 80% of my weight on the piercing. My breathing was shallow and forced. The pain was intense to the point where I didn’t think I could continue. I was glowing, radiant and absolutely obsessed to try again."

He was flirting with death and getting high off it.

He tried it again:

"And there it was at the end of a short dark tunnel, a great shimmering ball of white light!! It radiated intense waves of love like I’d never felt before. This incredible love was directed at me — personal and totally non-judgmental, unconditional, accepting. I passionately wanted to be swallowed up by that Light. In rapid telepathic communication, the Light spoke. It said: “Hello. I’m you and you are Me. And I’m as close to God as you’ll ever be. I am the One who made you and I am the One who will take you back. I brought you here. Remember the book? I am always here to guide you regardless of the form in which you see me”.

I asked the Light, “Do you always appear like this?” “No,” it replied, “I appear in any form you think I can appear”. Again I asked a question, “Is there only one of you”? The Light shimmered again and answered. “Of course not. Everyone has a White Light, but all of us are One. And One of us is powerful enough to create or destroy a world or universe. Let me show you”. I cannot describe what happened then. I was led on a fantastic tour of things made and not made and music that accompanies it all into a Divine Order.

I pleaded with the Light to embrace me. It said no, do not come closer. If I was embraced, I could not go back. The Light told me I had to return to my body and work through it until my task was finished. What task? The next thing I knew, I was back in the darkened garage laying on the floor with Davy Jones and Joe by my side. They said I had hung deathlike for twenty minutes. The experience was truly “transformative”. My life was markedly different from that day forward. I was a battery on “Full Charge” and didn’t have to sleep for the next 72 hours. My mind was ultra clear and all my physical functions seemed to have been enhanced.

That certainly wasn't the Jude Christian God he encountered. It was the adversary of the Judeo Christian God. How sad that someone is so hungry for love, attention and purpose in their life that they resort to evil for false satisfaction.

This verse comes to mind:

Prov.8:36

[36] But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.

It's wrong to mutilate yourself or imitate Sodom and Gomorrah activities. They are rejecting the Judeo Christian God and have a love affair with evil, through flirting with death. Death intoxicates them and makes them feel alive.

This "light" he encounters is obviously not divine or good. It's pure evil. These verses come to mind:

Prov.4:19

[19] The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble.

It reminds me of homosexuals calling themselves "gay". They are anything but "gay". Here this fellow sees "light". It's not. It's darkness disguised as light.

This is precisely what is going on:

Isa.5:20

[20] Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

It's confusion with terrible eternal consequences.

Back to WND, some excerpts worth highlighting:

The parents of these lost souls are baby boomers. Most are still lost raising kids now. Since they are lost, how could their kids NOT be lost also?

Yup! These parents have chosen not to "train" their children. They are too busy chasing the almighty dollar. Values and beliefs they may have been raised with are not being passed on and in most cases they look hypocritical if they attempt to do so since they don't practice what they preach.

Prov. 22:6

[6] Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

While no parent is perfect. Less effort is spent on raising kids with Judeo Christian values and beliefs hence the confusion with no boundaries and attraction to evil self destruction.

"In past eras, if parents were very imperfect or even corrupt, their children still had a reasonable chance of "growing up straight," since the rest of society still more or less reflected Judeo-Christian values. The youngster could bond to a teacher, minister, mentor or organization that could provide some healthy direction and stability."

Most boomer parents don't go to church hence no values and redeeming beliefs to pass on. Most aren't around except on weekends for their kids. They're busy working and trying to finance a lifestyle that is beyond their means. Most are reassured that it's NOT quantity of time but quality time that works with kids. Well, it doesn't work. Kids when little can NOT time their emotional needs around a parents work schedule and daycare people could care less. When older they have nothing of substance to cling to since they were abandoned when little and the parents are still prioritizing money over them. As for those divorced, well that in and of itself wreaks emotional havoc. When a divorced parent is around on a weekend it doesn't make up for the emotional neglect, lack of bonding and nonexistent Judeo Christian values and beliefs. They may be showered with material things but that doesn't quench the need for love and guidance.

Little and bigger kids are hungry for parental love, guidance and TIME with them to reinforce what is right. A daycare worker isn't going to do this. They are forced to remain secular. Kids actually want boundaries in their life. They may not admit it but is reassuring that someone cares about them. They want to be loved. They want TIME with those who love them. Most do NOT get this, hence the subconscious rebellion and rage. It builds up over the years ... . All the drugs in the world won't suppress it. Eventually they erupt.

Kids have been failed since they have not gotten the nurturing, beliefs and values they need. I know some will say that others have turned out well despite parental neglect in the past ... well today that support system isn't there as it was in the past so the failure rate, if you will has increased accordingly.

Yeah, I know ... snicker, laugh and leave a sarcastic reply to me because of what I've stated. It won't change the fact, the I am speaking the truth. All you will have done is been a cheerleader for the adversary of Christianity.

Yeah, I remember them too ... "Tommy" and "Steppenwolf". Also Woodstock, Cream, Carpenters, Beatles, Doors, Beach Boys, James Taylor etc.. Today they are nothing compared to the crap kids listen to today. It wasn't till years later that I realized things about them ... such as the Who had a song about a child being molested. Today that is common in songs and exalted.

That's not necessarily true. If you are referring to poor people, some of them actually have the right values and beliefs. Their struggle is to protect their kids from it and somehow move out of it - better neighborhood. IN other words poor doesn't necessarily equate with crime etc..

I have read the two essays now. My heart says 'Amen', so now I respond.

If anyone is a regular reader of their Bible, the passage in Daniel (of the OT) where Daniel has been praying many, many days, and fasting, seeking an answer to his prayers comes to mind while reading the two essays. How?... Because the 'Son of Man' arrives eventually to meet with Daniel by the River Chabar and proclaims that the evil spirit in Persia was resisting Him and this caused the long wait for Daniel's response from God.

That same evil power written of in Daniel has manifest many times across human history, in many different cultures and historical movements (the Inquisition is another stark example). Sadly, it has decided to focus upon America, now. And it is a most malevolent force, consuming already more than 40,000,000 of our own children, sacrificed to the demigods of convenience, selfishness, avoidance of responsibility, and expedience. Yes, expedience, for it is far cheaper in the beginning for a society to slaughter the alive unborn than to pay for the care and upbringing when a few parents are neglectful. But the vortex of such neglectful parents (of the unborn) grows and becomes no longer a side 'rabbit hole' but THE modus operandi for empowerment, as we see with the current dnc!

The following paragraphs I found particularly insightful on the author's part:

Today's youth rebellion is not only against failing parents, but against the entire adult society – against the children of the 1960s cultural revolution who grew up to become their parents. Unfortunately, many of us never shook off the transforming effects of that national trauma, which birthed the "sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll" youth counterculture, the leftist hate-America movement, the women's liberation movement and overriding all, of course, the sexual revolution.

So we grew up to elect one of our own – a traumatized, amoral [and here, amoral is the watch word, the key to recognizing the sickness infecting in America] sociopath of a baby-boomer named Bill Clinton. (His wife and partner-in-crime, Hillary, is the most popular Democrat in American public life today, and has a good shot at being president one day.) If you don't think Bill Clinton's escapades with Monica – covered by the media like the Super Bowl – had everything to do with the explosion of middle-school sexual adventures across America [socio-biologists have charted the sudden rise in oral sex in middle and elementrary school--with the explosion of presenting oral STDs--to the 'clinton-Monica' period], then open your eyes. We, the parents of this generation, along with the degrading entertainment media, the biased news media, the lying politicians, the brainwashing government school system and the rest of society's once-great institutions whose degradation we have tolerated, are responsible.

You know, I don't live in the kind of neighborhood that is a ghetto yet I see the "ghetto" lifestyle you smugly refer to EVERYDAY. In a nutshell, it's parents that don't care about their kids and do NOT invest the time to love them and guide them. What you refer to is not determined by financial status. It's a mindset.

In my neighborhood it's the snobbish pretentious attitude that leads the charge on neglect of their kids in being a parent. There is typically NO discipline, NO going to a Bible based church but they spend oodles of time at the local health club.

They work out and their kids are enrolled in every conceivable sports classes. On Sunday they sleep late and do it all over again. During the week they're not around because they need to finance this lifestyle. Besides kids are more of an ornament and they don't want to take the time to raise them. So you see, neglect and improper upbringing can happen to any financial class or race. It all depends on what your priorities are. Of course in the summer and sometimes during the year they go on expensive family vacations for "family time" where they can indulge them with "fun" and more material things while "impressing" others. LOL! They're raising little monsters - just like themselves - valueless, godless, cold and self absorbed.

The 'gansta rap' and other angry rhetoric passed off as mucis from Black Rappers is perhaps understandable ... the abortion rate in the black community is right at 50% (5 out of 10 pregnancies ending in abortion of the alive baby!).
