I was at a recent meeting where Gen Smith of Ohio spoke. He did a great job and was very reassuring.
Hard work goes into advancing a fielding schedule the way has been done here.

Great. What took so long?
To: xzins
It sounds like a lot of people worked overtime to make sure our troops get this life-saving equipment. Hope they all get the recognition they deserve, too.

I wasn't in charge so I don't know.
I suspect industrial capacity and funding.

My question also and I'm sure it's no great comfort to the relatives of any young man who may still be alive if he'd been outfitted properly. Somebody's head should be on a platter for allowing this travesty to ever occur.

Good news ping. Yes, we would have all rather had it 10 months ago. But we'll take it now.
