Stale routine, by a professional "maverick Republican"
He'll use Buchanan's stage one day, Wenner's the next. And he's been doing it forever.

He'll use Buchanan's stage one day, Wenner's the next. Not too "close" to Wenner, I hope.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Which is why I like him. Bush has done some very good things, but also some very bad. His medicare insanity , and if it ever passes, legalizing the illegals, will do damage to this country long after he's gone.

The massive budget deficit breaking non-defense spending is what blows me away. Also this failure to properly plan for post-war Iraq could leave a long and expensive legacy to taxpayers. I can't imagine Reagan doing any of these things.

'I have read both of Barbara Bush's books, former President Bush's book of letters, and President George W. Bush's A Charge to Keep. There is not one mention about their "royal heritage" in any of them. I can not recall one instance where anyone in the Bush family said one single thing about their ancestry, except to mention President Bush's grandparents.' Here's some 'Royal Heritage' you ought to read about...
'House of Bush, House of Saud : The Secret Relationship Between the World's Two Most Powerful Dynasties' by Craig Unger (Author)
excerpt:...
"'House of Bush, House of Saud' begins with a politically explosive question: How is it that two days after 9/11, when U.S. air traffic was tightly restricted, 140 Saudis, many immediate kin to Osama Bin Laden, were permitted to leave the country without being questioned by U.S. intelligence?
The answer lies in a hidden relationship that began in the 1970s, when the oil-rich House of Saud began courting American politicians in a bid for military protection, influence, and investment opportunity. With the Bush family, the Saudis hit a gusher -- direct access to presidents Reagan, George H.W. Bush, and George W. Bush..."
