I said I sat on a jury that tried him, not that I was a client. And a trial for obscenity is a lot more involved than your cursory look would imply.

Bars and liquor stores are places where you buy alcohol. If you are not interested in alcohol then you have no reason to go into it.

Meanwhile the law still stands that minors cannot buy such items.

Kids are more likely to buy their porn online where all that is needed is a credit card and no ID.

The purchase of the hardcore video may have been easier to prosecute for sale to a minor than a dildo. They may have just wanted to "prove" that the minor was not refused admission to a sexually oriented business.

They could also have attempted to get an arrest for selling a pipe (tobacco or hash) to a person under 18. Some "novelty" stores sell such items while others do not.

What does Monica have to do with this? For that matter, what does age (or consent) have to do with any "sexual harassment" cases?

Feminists railed against the "casting couch" and the floozy secretary who permitted herself to be hired by a firm for weekend trips with the boss.

Monica's affair came up in the Paula Jones trial because her lawyers were trying to show a pattern of behavior which the President denied under oath. Some women he was sexual around consented (or were receptive) to his actions while others did not.

The Paula Jones trial also showed a pattern of behavior how the Clintons bought silence (with job offers) and intimidated witnesses (and hints at how they tried to supress evidence). No dress and many people would have thought the whole incident was a lie.

Did you or did you not? Participate in the conviction of a man ( and subsequent incarceration) for selling materials that are still on the shelves and still being sold today. Yeah, I know it was all about the parts involved.

Your inight into whats best for society must be special.

I did not. Our jury acquited.

Yeah, I know it was all about the parts involved.

You don't know squat. The trial I sat on was over the rental of allegedly obscene videos.

Your inight into whats best for society must be special.

As a juror, that was my job, nimrod. According to the defense counsel, the prosecuting attorney, the judge, and our entire system of jurisprudence, I've got as much right to judge what's best for society as you do. I was summoned to jury duty; it wasn't MY idea. However, having been asked, I did so to the best of my ability. I didn't have the luxury of sitting on my a$$ and second-guessing.

From your tone of supercilious self-righteousness, I'd have to guess that you're a libertarian. Making the unsupported logical leaps you do, you're no credit to your ideology.
