We get to PAY the BILLS !!How I wish that bill paying would be the only thing that would result from a massive influx of illegals. We might be able to eventually recover from that.
Unfortunately, what we are really dealing with here is a bunch of leaders who are working very hard to bring about one world government. Fox just about let the entire cat out of the bag.
I hope I'm dead before that happens to America.

I look at it as a net positive.
Put Texas and Arizona into the Dem column, and you will never elect another Republican president. At some point, when those states become more like Mexico culturally then the rest of the US, what happens? Do we continue to slide the american culture more towards theirs, or do we cut those 4 states loose and just go forward with the other 46? It may sound kooky now, but 30 years from now, who knows?

Thanks for that observation. It's the only thing that's giving me any hope in this situation....but excuse me if I'm still worried about this.

"For years, Mexico has pressed the United States to grant some form of legal status to the millions of undocumented Mexicans who work and pay taxes in the United States."THEY DO NOT PAY TAXES. THEY QUALIFY FOR THE PAYOUT FROM THE TREASURY CALLED THE EARNED INCOME TAX CREDIT.

To the tune of 3500.00 + per 'family' per year. Add another 6000.00 per family for human services.

"But 7 years later, Reagan became President and the rest is history." And why is that? Why didn't Reagan seal the borders?
Why wasn't Jimmy Hoffa's body ever found?
PING!

Fox mentioned "NAFTA Plus".. apparently Fox is proposing a pan-American treaty fashioned after the EU.. which would include the US, Mexico and Canada. Now who will this benefit? Certainly not the US nor Canada.

If Bush is a failure for not sealing the borders, why isn't Reagan a failure for not sealing the borders and granting amnesty?

"Oh really. There's a provision in this plan that ends our policy of granting children born here automatic citizenship? I didn't think so."..
True... Also to consider, after the 3 years with a worker permit ..then what? They certainly don't have the resolve to deport ILLEGAL aliens now.. what makes us think, they will have the resolve to send the "guest workers" back to Mexico or wherever they are from? Will they be able to continue or reapply for 'guest worker' status? Will this be without end.. until retirement?

Yeah to Mexico.. guess Fox took to heart:

"Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore,
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me.
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

."become legal, with some restriction where local statute requires permits."... did you per chance read this?:
Supreme Court Refuses to Confirm Constitutional Right to Bear Arms
It is my understand, hopefully I'm wrong, that the California law will basically become the law of the land. Any state can pass laws just as restrictive.
