Wow. My father graduated from Franklin K. Lane back in '64. My how the neighborhood has changed since then.
I was pretty p.o.'d as a kid when Dad moved us out of Queens. Now I can't thanks him enough - even if he is a socialist.

Sheepshead Bay High School was a decent school when I lived in that area in the 50's.
Than the City began building instant slums called " The Projects" to house all the immigrants that were fllooding the city.
It was downhill from then on.
