http://www.bidville.com (not too bad of an auction, sometimes you can find some goodies here)
The Goodwill Auction has been around for few years now.

Maybe the dollhouse was evidence in a court case involving a domestic dispute between Ken and Barbie.

I notice that people often bump their own bid, even when they are the high bidder. Is there a particular reason for that? Having done the same thing on EBay myself, I suspect he was worried about another bidder "sniping" him at the last minute and was trying to make his bid high enough to reduce the possibility of that happening.

Are they really selling that hydroponic grow light that staple of dorm-room marijuana cultivation? How long before they show up to seize it back? Hence the "beauty" of the process, at least for the law enforcement agency in question. What retailer WOULDN'T like to sell a product, have it returned to him without having to refund the buyer's money, then put the product right back on the shelf for somebody else to buy?

Police seized about 800 items in November from houses in Exeter Township and Reading. About half of it had been claimed Friday, the first of two days that Exeter police displayed the loot. ----------------------- oliviaharis
