I'm in Fredericksburg. BTW, to read some of the local reaction to this story in this part of Virginia, check out the message board of the Free Lance-Star (at www.fredericksburg.com and click on FredTalk).

Checked it out, VA. You might,(ought,) to register and tell'em. They seem to have the same feelings as most Americans do...i.e., "What would a terrorist want to blow up a tiny place like this for?"
I swear, it will take forever, at this rate, to get SOMEONE to understand that there is NO connection between what Americans feel and what terrorists think. Except that some of those involved ARE Americans....
You know that, don't you?

Of course. Remember the American Taliban from Marin County, CA (for one example)?
It's just that some of the recent messages ostensibly coming from al Qaida have indicated that there will be a devastating attack on the U.S. that will rival 9/11. In that context, it's hard to see what would be targeted in a place like Tappahannock, unless of course, it's not the target but a base. Then, your scenario of a strike on a target in the region, probably in the Washington area, would make the most sense.

And the wheel goes 'round, 'round, 'round.
One center. Many targets. A whole circle full.
