Is it possible to have only shallow depth of emotion for your dead wife and still not have killed her?

It is. But if the dead wife and baby are found in the shallow depths of a distant one time fishing spot of the husband, it is likely he killed them.

He killed them and dumped them into a fishing spot of his? Does he strike you as an imbecil?

I still would like to see some real evidence tying Scott to this crime, so far, nothing has been made public that would convict Scott, nothing has been shown to prove he and Lacy lived together, and that he was a scumbag cheating husband. Being a scumbag cheating husband does not prove he murdered his wife, most scumbag cheating husbands do not kill their wives.

The way it is going, it appears the police have no case to prove that he did it.

We all would like to convict him , but I wish someone would bring forth some evidence, any evidence, that he actually did it.

Actually, it sounds like a dare.

It sounds like he was either daring the police, or he subconsiously wanted to get caught. or he was giving a "defacto" confession by placing himself in the scene of the crime. A sane man who did not want to get caught, a sane man would have buried his dead wife in the middle of the California desert and then said he was in the opposite direction fishing in the ocean. To tell the police he was at the place where the bodies were found, is a dare.

Esp when you realize that he even told him where it was. Yet, it is no "proof" at all.

Well, it can be said that Occam's Razor is much too dull to slice human behavior. But, I do think that someone who wants to be caught at premeditated murder would be a lot more behaviorally twitchy than Petterson is.

His response to all of it just didn't add up.

I looked at his casual walk to and from his home.

I looked at him and his casual way of walking from his car.

Where was Scott when the bodies were recovered? I can not support a man with blond died hair and $15,000.in his pocket and only thirty miles from the border.
