well, judging by the way the government tracks and deports illegal aliens now, I'd say there was no way you're going to get the controlled, foolproof guest-worker program. Any guest worker program will result in a mass influx of illegals, that's why there shouldn't be one until the government can prove to us that it can control who enters the country and deport people who should be deported.

There are plenty of Americans to work the low cost jobs-they are called TEENAGERS.

Many now do not work cause they are replaced by adult illegal aliens. Many do not work because we give out FOR FREE too much oney or nothing.

I work in a warehouse that is easily close to 1/2 illegal Mexican-in Memphis, no less. Do you really believe there are no Americans to do this work. It pays better than minimum wage, however our pay and raises are now dropping as they hire more and more low wage ILLEGALS.

I think that somewhere in my twenty or so replys I have.

I advocate a simple program involving foolproof IDs and tough criminal enforcement. No loopholes. All the people arguing with me offer nothing except the unrealistic idea that we are going to use the military and stop all illegals. Never happen. Can't catch up to the 8 or 12 million here now.

I just checked cis.org, actually it is "only" 36% of legal Mexican immigrants, the HS dropout rate is close to 70%, so this is sure to boost that number soon.
