Capturing a feeling
Writing through a child's eyes, Evelyn Dubois' poem expresses thoughts of military families with loved ones who are deployed
This is worth the read, just have tissue box handy then pass the story around. Be sure to include the tissue alert when you do.

Not only do I pray for the safety, and safe return, of our fighting men and women, but for the men and women from other countries as well. I consider it an insult to them when I hear liberal spinmeisters saying that we are fighting this war alone. Everyone over there, fighting against terrorism, is doing something that transcends words. Everytime I think of their sacrifices, I am at a loss for words. Thanks for this post!

Thanks, SandRat. (*sniff*)~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"I was trying to tell people how we (soldiers' families) all feel and what we go through," Evelyn said. "But I wanted it to be said through the eyes of a child, my son Gabriel."

Bless our military families. (Warning, more lyrics like these:)
But, I'm a big boy now, I'm already five.
It's almost Christmas time you know,
You'll miss Santa, your presents and all the snow.
No time to think of the now, I have to be brave,
For once again you have our country to save.
