Good point!! Why the French are letting the problem grow and become more and more unmanageable is beyond me.

The problem with Muslim women wearing headscarves in France is that Muslim men have been raping women who do not wear headscarves. France would be better off publicly executing the Muslim rapists. Forcing Muslim women to bare their face does no one any great pleasure.

I was thinking of posting this very thought when I read the article's title!

It's their choice to wear the scarf because what reasonable, intelligent woman would not want to wear the scarf as opposed to the consequences of not wearing the scarf!! It's a choice made out of fear. And it's not unfounded. The French, and French women in particular, would do well to consider this. And how it will impact them in the future.

"The French state wants us to submit, to tell us what to wear and what not to wear," she added. "None of these women here will take their veils off."

Trained well, they know who they should 'submit' to.

IT took years for them working behind the scene to get this far ,they just kept piling into france now the country is screwed just like ours, and all because muslimes take kindness for weakness ,and now it is to late to do anything about it ,I know of nothing that is good about islam.

Of course my comment is to point out they are the puppets for the politics of the males. Muslim women in most countries have little to say about what they do and how they behave without the consent of their male masters. I don't see it a separate issue at all as the article is about Muslim women protesting (coerced) about veil exclusion.

Now Chirac and his mental processes and motivations ARE an entirely separate issue.
