You would be better off asking Santa Claus instead the Slave Party Leadership, the elite Rat Fascists, in California for what you want for local government.

"unilateralism" must take weeks for most voters of the slave party to be able to say it and read it.

Another sorely needed laugh for today.

Whew, we had the ABC scaredy cats whinin', brief market jitters. What's an evil wicked capitalist to do?

Gravitas is another word they had classes on before the 2000 election. Not more than 3% passed. One of the nine dwarves has now learned the word triumphalism, which took the ketchup dude about three months to learn how to say it. He still doesn't know what it means, other than it has something to do with treating the French badly.

It seems that "unilateralism" has become a 4-letter word.

Good catch. In its four letter iteration, it stands for GUTS.

Something no DemonRAT has.

Perhaps the Democrats who run cities and counties now will begin to see that the Democrats in the Legislature are a common enemy of all Californians. All they care about is their own power, maximizing the size and intake of the State.

Burton said the problem was one for cities and counties to resolve on their own ... .

"We have heard their cries, like little babies they cry," Burton said. "Mayor Hahn of L.A. six times a week and twice on Sundays. Lee Baca, sheriff of L.A., on the phone constantly."

"Yeah, they cry, who doesn't want money? How many of you have kids? It's like Santa Claus give me something for Christmas."

Attention, Jim Hahn, Democrat. Attention, Lee Baca, Democrat. Is Phil Burton your friend now? Or your enemy?

The essential purpose of government is to prevent actions that cause substantial injury to public health and safety. A secondary purpose is to create and maintain public works or infrastructure. A tertiary purpose is its parens patriae function to public wards. Following that is the promotion of the general public benefit - such as common economic benefit.

Providing entitlements or benefits with public dollars to individuals, when these benefits do not prevent or cure a substantial threat to general public health or safety, is a transfer of wealth.

What Governor Schwarzenegger did was to reorder priorities in alignment with the legitimate purpose of government. How can anyone argue for individual welfare and CalWorks benefits at the expense of the basic "police powers" in regard to general public health and safety?

Ack, that word again. I hope it goes out of fashion soon. It's a preemptive strike on what would otherwise be referred to as "leadership".

"unilateralism" is one of the key one word mantras for the lunatic left. 80% of those who mouth have no idea what it means.

Then for example, the other 20% just look at you when you list of our allies in the war against their buddy the $oddomite.

You are right on target that "unilateralism" is a preemptive strike against GW's leadership.
