Yup. Read the document. That idiot who is governor of Kalifornia said he would sign a bill like this, and he's Republican - sort of.

This would ban all modern rifels and pistols of .50 caliber or more, all 12 gauge shotguns, all muzzle-loading hunting rifles of .50 caliber or more, all muskets used by civil war re-enactors in Jersey and all Revolutionary War Muskets used by Brigade of the American Revolution guns in New Jersey, effectively ending all historical re-enactments there, competitive target shooting with muzzle-loaders,
and hunting with rifled slugs in shotguns or with most muzzle-loaders.

In addition to being an idiotic law, and, an unconstitutional infringement of the Second Amendment, it is a post facto law, like Jersey's old assault rifle law. It is a post facto law becasue it criminalizes an act which was legal in the past, i.e. purchasing a gun like this, and is also an illegla taking, as the state is in effect removing a legally acquired piece of private property without just compensation. Like the assault rifle ban, if successful in Jersey, it will be pursued by anti-gun groups in every state in the Union.

Weinberg is an idiot, a self-confessed ignoramus on matters involving guns, but a creature of Cease-Fire New Jersey, an anti-gun group.

Their face is now revelaed to the nation for what they really are. Public safety issues are NOT their priority or concern. They have declared war on ALL firearms, ALL guns, and more signifcantly, everything the gun represents in society now and has in the past.

They view guns as a dangerous symbol of white European male oppression, a symbol of conservative resistance, and representative of the use of force by the government in the past to expand and defend our borders. Their goal is a "peaceful" society, where all males are totally emasculated, both de facto and de jure, and turned into pettycoated wimps who suffer dumbly the dictates of an oppressive, liberal, left-wing establishment.

They have some unlikely allies - the Methodist Church for instance

Not an unlikely ally at all. If you look closely, you'll find the Methodist church is involved quite a few extremist leftwing causes.

The Methodist Church, the Presbyterian Church, the liberal wing of the Episcopalian Church and some elements of the Catholic Church can only be describes as "subversive".
They don't support the right of this Country to defend itself, they approve of homsexuality, they don't believe in the Second Amendment, and they conspire to bring illegal aliens into America, they approve of murdering babies in their mothers' wombs, as well as seek to overturn the death penalty.

They are evil and subversive - mere shadows of what were once great faiths.

On the other hand, you have Christian fundamentalists like Pageone, who look at the Bible the same way the Pharisees did. They can't see the forest for the trees.

Real Christianity is in as much danger as western civilization.
