"Come on, you know that they'll start trying to frighten us with whoever is on the democratic ticket."

But Condi will get 7% of the Black vote in 2008 instead of Bush's 5% in 2000! (Sarcasm)

"She is a HAWK, without a doubt. Ultra-conservative on foreign policy."

Is that why Rice was pissed off at Sharon for building an Israeli Security Fence?

Mitt Romney should be a contender if he survives Massachussets (although I'm not sure I would support him).

I agree on Tim Pawlenty(Gov. Mn.) got rid of a 4 billion dollar deficite Without raising taxes in a liberal state. The media against him the att. general trying to undermind him.

2008 GOP TICKET:

Gov. Bill Owen (Colorado)
Gov. Jeb Bush (Florida)

The #1 & #2 rated best governors in America. (Seriously)

OR

Gov. Bill Owen (Colorado)
Sen. Bill Frist (Tennessee)

As much as I would love it, I have my doubts that Jeb would run in '08 if GWB wins a second term. I don't know if the public would want back to back Bushes.

Is that why Rice was pissed off at Sharon for building an Israeli Security Fence?

Did you know that the security fence was initially proposed by the left-leaning Labour Party, and that Israel's right-wing nationalist faction opposes the project? They argue that it cuts off Jewish settlements from Israel proper.

Think about it.

I don't think American is ready for either a woman or a black as president. . .

Really? Why not?

Nah. You Paleos ARE Democrats who are HATED by the new DEMOCRATS, or else you'd still BE DEMOCRATS.

Conservatives? My ass.

You know, Arne. I've thought the same things you've posted for quite a while now.

I just couldn't post it how you did.

Arnold Schwarzenegger COULD be the 2008 Prez. Look for a 2006 Constitutional Amendment.

Not a chance. Also not a chance of getting rid of two-term limit so Clinton (or Bush) could get a third term.

"Is Rice pro-abortion? I know she is pro-gun. "

I know that Condaleeza Rice is PRO-ABORTION and PRO-AFFIRMATIVE ACTION, but I have never read that she is "Pro-Gun". What is your source for this information?

"McCain is a decent choice as well."

Ya...a decent choice if you like using our Constitution as toilet paper. Go back to DU.

" Condi would make a great VP. And I'm not ashamed to admit that her particular demographic -- her race -- IS a factor. She just might pick up a substantial portion of the African-American vote, which would screw the Dems."

So you think blacks would vote for her just because of her skin color? I doubt it. Besides.....she's Pro-Abortion and Pro-Racial Quotas.

It's interesting to me that the only people who seem concerned about Gov Jeb Bush having the last name "Bush" are people who (1) are on FR; and (2) do NOT live in FL.

Gov Bush made history - history - by becoming the first GOP governor in Florida to win re-election.

And, he won by a landslide victory 57% to 43%.

As a FL voter, it seems un-American to me to hear talk that because you wish his last name were different, he is disqualified.

Any GOP governor who can make history, in a landslide, and win a swing state like FL, is someone who should be seriously considered as a 2008 candidate.

And, he has never said he doesn't want the job; he has said he hasn't thought about it.

But I think the GOP would win in another landslide with Gov Bush in 2008. I would think that win is more important to you than denying someone a chance because of his last name.

I said VP, not President. I'm aware of her positions on AA and abortion, and I do have a problem with that.

In any case, it is probably a moot point, because she will likely run for Governor first, before she enters the race for the White House.
