Anybody who reads (and quotes) Noonan is okay in my book. (Observe my tagline, please...) :)

froth like mad dogs

Right! Ann's not "frothing". She's laughing her a** off.

(But I'd like to feed her a few bacon cheese burgers with a milkshake on the side. Put some meat on those brilliantly funny bones! ;)

...I loathe Bush like the next liberal...

Except for his willingness to defend the country, Bush is a liberal.

Gore could never have adavnced their agenda like Bush has.

These people not only don't have a clue, they are completely devoid of a sense of humor. It is not just "Bush Derangement Syndrome", it is knowing that, thanks to the groundswell of conservative thinking as is found on the internet (Richard Poe's "Masters of the Internet"), leftists and Democrats are open and vulnerable to be seen for the paranoid idiots and race-baiting sycophants they are. They are being mocked, laughed at, and ridiculed by the fresh ideas and voices from the right, and they simply CANNOT stand it! Woohoo! One of our most effective weapons is amused derision, because it drives liberals nuts!

Oh, sure. You can tell that, absolutely, by the way they -- the liberal media meat puppets; the goofy, googly-eyed liberal punditocracy (Franken, Moore, etc.); the hardcore liberal activists (e.g., the DU maggots) -- all worship and adore Dubya. Because he's soooooooooooooooo liberal, don't you see. They're all so deliriously, orgasmically ecstatic over each and every little thing he's done in office, from 2000 to today.

Or... ummmmmmmm... not, I guess.

It's even better, it's David Horowitz quoting Noonan.

I half agree with you. Domestically, he's a disaster. The budget, education, and medicare bills are ridiculous. He has courted Islamists in the WH. (Search recent Grover Norquist threads). He refuses to enforce the borders, and is now talking amnesty for illegal aliens. His Israel policy is outright hypocritical. And he has ties to the Saudis that have yet to be addressed.

But, he is serious about this war, and we need a man like him to deal with the Islamist threat the way he is. There is no alternative at this point.

The democrats have fled so far left they are unrecognizable as human beings and have lost their minds. They are too far left to be considered liberal anymore.

Just because Bush isn't a rapist, doesn't mean he is a conservative.

His stealing his opponents issues may make him a smart politician, but to do so he has had to abandon any pretense of conservatism. Would a conservative sign legislation repealing the first amendment? Would a conservative throw billions more into Ted Kennedy's socialist education plan?

Prescription drug bill or greatest entitlement in history?

Amnesty to criminal invaders?

Billions more down the ratholes of Africa?

When he signs the new improved anti weapons bill next fall will you crow over how brilliantly he took the gun control issue away from the left?

This entire "argument" of yours -- i.e., that Bush-Ain't-Done-Nuttin'-Conservative-Dadgummit -- was crushingly, irrefutably deconstructed just yesterday, on these very boards. You missed out, apparently.

The thread you'll be looking for is entitled Let Bush Be Bush: "Mr. Bush Is Mr. Reagan's Heir." Enjoy your reading. I'm certain you'll find it instructive. :)

What South hack's list of hogwash?

Most of it is wishful thinking.

Like the supposedly dead ICC, he's got people arguing before it right now. How dead is that?

And four armed pilots?

Kyoto might be gone finally, but it was Putin that put a stake into it.
