Some of the rest stops I have seen lately either are incredibly dirty or are "flooded" with rump rangers. Not an incentive for stopping.

Well, human feces are a source of diseases and should not be spread around, but urine is perfectly harmless out in the country. Why would people deposit bottles of urine at highway interchanges when, not to falsely euphemize, they could pull over and pee in the bushes? It's good for the plants.

Why would people deposit bottles of urine at highway interchanges when, not to falsely euphemize, they could pull over and pee in the bushes? It's good for the plants.

First of all, I don't think it is good for the plants (my dog's doesn't do wonders for my grass) and if you do this you are asking to get a stop 'n check by your local lawman.

Up here in New York we have what we call "Rest Stops". These are areas where people can pull off the road and they have what we call "restrooms" where people can go to the bathroom.

Many of the legal ones share the same standards of sanitation. We discovered this during the course of building our house. The subs used the back portion of our property as a latrine- even though facilities were provided!

I grew up in the area and trust me, there are pleny of illegals to go around. Lots of orchards and vineyards bring them up.
