Mine is as well, Catspaw!!
Must be some kind of Computer Virus.
Or maybe it's because I remember my parents meeting me at the train station when I came home from Korea, some time ago.

I'm afraid to even think about it!
If I start thinking that he might be home for Christmas, I'm going to be even more down when he's not......
It's WONDERFUL for this family, though. I'm a bit jealous, but VERY happy for them!

It seems so strange reading about young women coming home from war...but I will never berudge their efforts and contributions. I'm proud of our ladies.

The cut-off date for R&R is sometime in Feb......The Brigade assigns how many to each unit, each month...Eric has all of Jan to get on that list.

I'm proud of our ladies. It does seem strange...but our state, which has had few combat deaths, had a woman with an MP unit killed in Iraq, and a few days ago, a woman (not from Wisconsin) who was trying to disable a bomb was killed in Iraq.
I'm proud of all of our armed forces, men and women, especially those who are serving in war zones.

But I still have a bit of male pig in me...I'd rather a bruiser firefighter
be sent to haul me from a burning building...there are just some spots where
raw muscle-power on the mega-scale is needed...
