Isn't this money subject to seizure under the laws passed in the wake of 9/11 to seize bank accounts that are aiding terrorism?

Thanks for exposing those engaged in treason and terrorist-sponsorship.
It is truly vile.
These hypocrites talk about 'no blood for oil'. How about ...
No BLOOD MONEY FOR TERRORISM.

Thank you for all you've done. BTW, did ThirdWorldMoron ever send you any emails in response? Has s/he/it tried any means of retaliation, online or otherwise?

Lucio Malan, a senator from the governing Forza Italia Party, was shocked to hear about the campaign. . . . "The first word that comes to my mind is shame and horror," he told BBC Radio Four's Today programme.Italian doesn't have a word for treason?

Yes, and on that basis, it's a gift to the US taxpayer, so long as these fools manage to raise a bit more than it costs to investigate and seize....
But I wouldn't bet on that. $14K will hardly buy a decent car, let alone a decent ammo and weapons stash.

3rdWorldMoron is just one of hundreds of communists, neo-nazis, Islamists, IndyMediods, lib-bots, skinheads, and other blithering idiots which you may talk to on the Pravda forum.
However, there are also many intelligent conservative and libertarian voices which make for interesting conversation.
Pravda Forums make FreeRepublic look like a Sunday School picnic.
After spending several hours there, I can say one thing: Thank Gawd FreeRepublic has Admins!

That's not really very many people, considering that we're talking EUROPE here.
This is like anti-war protests being photographed to try to make them look bigger than they are.
I bet this was NOT 10 Euros at a time after all anyway. ;-)

Eh? Why was I pinged to this thread? I don't remember being added to this list (not that I object)...
But regardless, this story gets my blood boiling every time I read an article about it. This whole anti-imperialism movement, along with various other movements, is a huge sham. If they really mean to help the Iraqi people, then they ought to donate that money to relief programs or reconstruction.
The way it is now, that money's going to go to terrorists who kill indiscriminately. Coalition troops who're over there trying to help the Iraqis may get hurt. Their fellow Italians may get hurt. The Iraqi people may get hurt.
Not that they care. They oppose imperialism just for the sake of opposing imperialism.
