For those who have no life, outside of playing around with some obscure, half-a__ed os and applications, by all means, let them choose linux or some other flavor of unix. Wow! I havn't seen such a misguided, illinformed rant since Howard Dean spouted off on foreign policy.

Really B2K, sometimes you are cool but too often you act like some little punk kid when it comes to Linux issues. He *has* to be a kid.
No one over the age of 20 talks to people the way he does.

Hello, everyone. I am an ordinary user just like your self. I tried that there linux and its too complicated. Maybe some day it will have pictures on the screen but now its all words.
Use a sports story or line from a movie to give readers the impression that linux is difficult to install. I tried to install it one time and its like trying to run by Junior Seau. It's just too hard.
If it looks like you can get away with it, throw a spear at Apple, too. Also I tried Macintosh and it blew up and killed my dog. |

I'm as big a linux enthusiast as anyone, but linux users need to be realistic. Proper security depends as much on the vigilance of administrators as the core technology, and many linux users probably have a relaxed sense of security because of their faith in the OS.
I make sure to turn off every publically accessable service on my boxes, and check my ports to be sure there's no open doors.
