Chirac, c'est la catin de la France.

Check out the pro-U.S. French blog,
Merde in France. The French media are crying in their Chablis over the capture.
To: Paleo Conservative
Unlike our demonrat politicians, there was no BUT in Chirac's statement and for that he gets credit.

There has been no mention of the fact that the decent people in Iraq don't want the UN, France or Germany involved in their country. They KNOW who their enemy was for all those years.

We need to back off the germans.. They have the biggest contingent of troops in afghanistan... Although they were against iraq they have been right next to us in our other fight..So we need to give them props for that..
To: mrsmith
Yes, the information is much more valuable unpublished.

Agreed. Germany should be allowed to pursue contracts in Afganistan.

"Oh, let's put this all behind us and kiss and make up with France and Germany and Russia. Let them have part of the reconstruction efforts." If Bush did that, the Democraps would then start screaming that he 'caved in'.

Add Senator Joe Biden to the wimp list who want to "internationalize" the efforts going forward and "reach out" to Germany and France. Another a$$hole, for sure!
He's on CNN, as we speak!
To: Paleo Conservative
Of course Chiraq is happy they found Saddam. The guy owes Chiraq a whole lot of money for all those arms sales.
To: Paleo Conservative
Of course he's delighted. His long lost gay lover has been returned to him!
To: Paleo Conservative
Unbelievable. Chirac is even more shameless than I thought.

>>>
Mrs. Bat's theory is that the Frogs, Krauts and Russkies will now get very cooperative and do that requested.... <<< Don't think so. I think this Axis of Euroweenies will bring as much pressure as they can to internationalize the prosecution of Saddam and the democratization of Iraq.
American lefties are already behind this minimizing of US influence in Iraq and will bring further pressure on Bush to share responsibility for the rebuild effort with the hapless UN.
The Euroweenies must control the trial so that their complicity in arming and backing Saddam is minimized. It's going to get very interesting.
Meanwhile - Dow up about 175 points tomorrow at a minimum.
