The guys above may be evil, but by golly, they're our evil guys! Fight, fight, fight, go team!

Didn't he 'promise' to repeal CT's income tax?

Not so long ago (and to some extent even now), the moral ground you assert you occupy also included opposition to artificial birth control. If you approve of such methods to control conception, they would/do consider you immoral.

Talk about a straw dog! The question is do you agree with the previous statement, without your embelishments?

I'm constantly assured by many posters on this board that we should always support Republicans because they are always better than the alternative.

We're getting tired of reminding you, so get with the program and stop trying to be a maverick. Yes, always support the Republicans until further notice, and, yes, at this time, they are far better than the alternative overall. And if they break the law, throw them out and put them in jail and replace them with another Republican. Now, cut the contrarian rhetoric. It's getting real old, real quick.

Good. Don't let it happen, again.

Of course I don't agree with the statement. Neither do most others. And the "dog" was not released by me.

"If you approve of such methods to control conception, they would/do consider you immoral"

Many of the "methods to control conception" are deceitfully labelled when they really result in early abortion.

What you folks are failing to grasp is that in these Northeastern states (NY, Mass, Vt, NJ, Ct), the choice is either extreme lib (D) or Moderate (R). There are no other choices -period!

I'd choose Rowland/Pataki/Whitman over the Dems any day of the week. They aren't great, but when compared to McGreedy/Spitzer/whoever takes over in CT in '06 (or sooner), they're pretty darned good.

Whereas we had GOP governors in CT/NY/NJ just a couple of years ago, NJ went for McGreedy, Spitzer will take NY in '06, and Rowland just ruined it for the GOP in '06...

Man what a turnaroud... It'll totally buck the trend occurring elsewhere in the country!
