PROPOSED?

No. I said "imposed."

It isn't the pharmaceuticals who created this problem. It is the US congress. They removed market forces by imposing a price cap, thus forcing vaccine manufacturers to choose between losing their shirts or getting out of the flu vaccine business. They chose the latter.

Socialism at work.

bones--

I did some research yesterday and posted a few articles and links near the end of this thread: BILL AND HILLARY CLINTON RESPONSIBLE FOR INFLUENZA VACCINE SHORTAGE

The research on google was difficult because every aspect of the program had a different combination of names. Child/childhood/children; vaccine/immunization/innoculation/pharmaceutical; etc.

Also, the nationalization of America's pharmaceutical industry has been going on silently for over fifteen years. Ted Kennedy and Waxman started it all in 1986, then congress has been adding to it every few years until now the government owns most of the vaccine industry - in effect.

If you want to be outraged, be outraged at Kennedy, Waxman, and Hillary. They are the guilty parties.
