Another one of my "little stories".

After Viet Nam I was stationed in Germany, West Germany of course, and I learned german, I learned it well and I spoke and understood it well. Not just a phrase, or a word, the whole damned language. Why did I do this? Because I was a guest in their country and I felt obligated to speak their language, and I was only a guest.

You come to my country, you speak my language, or live in the slums and never assimalte into our great society, become an illiterate gang member that will soon become a ward of the state in a prison or a corpse on a morgue slab. It's your choice! If I went to your country I would have the decency to learn your language, it's called respect. Respect the people that founded this land and speak to them in their own tongue...it isn't english, we stopped speaking that a long time ago, it's American.

PS...don't think many of us 'Mericans can't understand what you say.I grew up in West Texas. I may say, "excuse me?", but I knew exactly what you said. Get it?
