I may be wrong, but I doubt it. The investigation that Carol Capas mentions is probably to protect Roger from persecution (not mis-spelled!) at the hands of Jennifer Allan and her ilk.

The illegal-immigration enablers won't have a leg to stand on if the Sherrif's Office and Chris Roll have already investigated the incidents and found no wrong-doing.

And that is almost certainly a given. Roger and Don were both Sherrif's Deputies, they know the law. They aren't going to break it. Sherrif Dever's smart enough to be able to look over their situation at any given time and know what's going on.

As far as your husband goes...well, maybe we need to take this discussion off-line!!
