knuckle-dragging vigilantes

If you're talking about Roger and Donald, that is a mis-characterization and shouldn't be posted.

Still haven't put the bong down it seems, have you?

What part of "reasoned and prudent" do you not understand? A group of mexicans afoot in that location, with no papers can rasonably be assumed to be illegal immigrants.

As such, they are subject to citizen arrest. If you are an American, how 'bout less badmouth of those trying to stem the flow of illegal immigrants. Huh??

I suspect that quote was taken out of context and that Mackenzie was referring to the people showing up for the "Fun in the Sun" Ranch watch.

So you would personally bury the unarmed women and children who would be machinegunned crossing the border? Or do the salon Bolshevikis expect others to fulfill their murderous desires?

Ahhhhh, C.J !

I haven't had the pleasure of one of your absurd screech fests in QUITE some time.

First . . . does the word machine gun appear anywhere in my post?

Of course not, it is just a typical simple minded attempt to stir the pot a bit. It never worked in the past, is it insanity that has you expecting a different result this time?

Never mind, ON TO THE QUESTION! TO SHOVEL OR NOT TO SHOVEL?

Actually, according to the numbers provided by the current u.S. Border "Control" I would thoughtfully suggest a backhoe. Hummm. Better tack that into the budget.

Roger and Don own the ranch and several propane and towing businesses.

They did not impersonate Border Patrol. And FYI, the Border Patrol is very appreciative of the work done by the Barnetts.

Seen one cattle fence, seen them all. Especially out there in the Big Empty of the east end of Cochise County. And what if your neighbor is knowingly enticing trespassers to pass through your property, doesn't care, and you're stuck with the damages?

Sue the monkery? Their assets aren't worth squat.

The Barnetts all deserve jail time

You're commenting out of ignorance because you believe the newspaper reporter.

Don't.

Good catch.

That web site explains alot. This litle nonprofit goup want to bankrupt Bartlet. It looks like they have an agenda. Since there are no witnesses this case will be a "he said, she said" case.

The 'evidence' was probably having brown skin, and that constitutes a violation of their civil rights.

Down here, a group of 30 foreigners travelling by foot through the desert walks, talks, and looks like a duck. Are you familiar with that terminology?

It's tantamount to running out of a bank, carrying bags of money, and firing a machine gun.

Too much bong leads to malicious thoughts and poor logic (arguably not your strong suite). What you said it not what I wrote.

When you arrive back on this astral plane, re-read what I wrote.

The Summerland Monastery should be charged...Fat chance that will ever happen.

Actually, that is happening to select people, including the local head of one of the border-crosser enabling groups. He and an associate were caught harboring and transporting illegals.

I have to admit, in the past I would defend the right to defend one's self and private property and to take action, deadly force if necessary to prevent felonious activity from transpiring on one's property.

So if the Barnett's arrested illegal immigrants trespassing on their property, I'd support it.

If they had permission from the landowner to help him enforce the laws, aka a militia,..probably also I'd support it.

If he's dressing up like a law enforcement officer, trespassing on other's property without permission in a crusade to arrest illegal immigrants, then he's stepped over the line and needs to be put in his place. Perhaps such a place is a nuthouse.

However, no one has yet addressed the issue of impersonating federal agents for which felony charges apply.

The article has an agenda. Don't believe everything you read. All ranchers go about their ranches armed. All ranchers wear comfortable outdoor clothing. Many ranchers wear baseball caps; wearing one that says, for example, American Border Patrol, is quite common.

If you spot anybody walking across Roger's ranch, it's a tresspasser. I've been there. He can keep count of his legitimate neighbors without taking his boots off.

His ranch is right next to the spot where Geronimo finally surrendered. It wasn't the cavalry that convinced him; it was the scenery.

pass a law stating that owners of property on federal borders were required to enforce US immigration statutes.

No need to, the issue is one of defense of personal property. And trust me, it needs to be defended from the invasion. Come live with me for a week and you will be singing a different tune.

Do not accuse me of calling you either sane or conservative

You are an illegal alien apologist and enabler

You believe it is just dandy for illegal aliens to illegally cross the US border and trespass on an American citizen's land

You get all bent out of shape if an American citizen steps on property of a weird "tax-exempt" cult with a shady history in the USA

Wearing an NYPD cap had been determined to be 100% legal by US courts

At no time did the Barnett's claim they were official LEOs per the statement of one of the witnesses

Please post the names and official statements/complaints of the 31 "undocumented citizens"

There is hearsay and there is evidence

Provide legal "standing" and "evidence", not biased blather

It is easy to infer so, because their private property is on the NORTH side of the town of Douglas, Arizona, which is about 3 miles from the border.

Inference from ignorance is wrong. You need to stop it.

Don't worry about the Barnetts, they have been through this before. The Sheriff backs 'em, as do most of the local judges. They've even been investigated by the FBI and cleared of any wrongdoing.
