Thanks for giving me some information I could use yesterday. I was looking for facts and a lot of Freepers have nothing better to do but make "fart" jokes about the earthquake. I now see in the news today that there were three yesterday - the Richmond quake, Oklahoma and Taiwan.

"he said it was a "sign from God"
Could be, but how can he be sure it wasn't a sign saying we shouldn't vote democrat?

Yesterday, in Virginia. May indicate movement which could be a precursor to more activity.

I am such a loser i can't feel the dang earth move. Tell you what, to give you a sense of what it feels like sit down in a chair, put your head down as far as you can. Now, breathe out and hold it. When you have to breathe in again do so as you stand up. Now take a step forward. That vertigo sensation is close to what it feels like during an earthquake.
