Nicely put!
Many people both individually, and from many unrelated organizations worked hard, and helped God accomplish a miracle.
Terri Schiavo is not dead yet!
Many individuals and organizations continue to work very hard to make sure Terri isnt murdered, and neither will anyone else be be murdered by court ordered starvation.
Some individuals do what we can, when we can, and prayers count as doing something.
God bless everyone involved.
Special thanks to those who were able to use their resources to garner attention from the media and government.
And can and will do so again if need be.
Extra special thanks to people like Floriduh Voter, and many other people from individuals, to organizations who continue daily to fight for Terri, behind the spotlight, but with the tenacity and integrity to see this fight through to the hopefully sweet end, when Terri can receive the love and care her family wants to give her, without fear that the courts will order her starved to death, because she is not able to say verbally she wants to live, and they wont uphold her basic right to life and/or take as evidence her obviously strong will to live as a sign of her own wishes, that she is fighting for life every day she draws breath.

If Jimmy Carter had shown up in support of Terri Schiavo, I would have refrained from spitting on him, although I would not have shook his hand. And I detest him more than any "infamous" individual alive today!
If we must all explain all of our reasons, and be judged as worthy or unworthy of fighting for Terri Schiavo,I guess I should not have attended the vigils.
I just care. Is that reason enough? Or do I also have to say I am afraid if they can murder Terri, what would they do to my cousin who is not "normal", and what would they do to me, if I were incapacitated?
And the lady who came up to me and asked me what she could do, since she, like I, just felt compelled to show support by being there. Neither of us had ever "protested" anything before. We came because we could, we cared, and we could think of nothing else to do to show our support for Terri's fight. We didnt come for 15 minutes of fame, and neither of us wanted to be interviewed by the press, or meet "famous" people.
Lots of people came to "help", not knowing how best to go about that, but it seemed the Schindler family took some comfort from our presence, and if that is all we accomplished, that was enough.

Yes, there is strength in numbers and everyone who's behind the Schindler family gave them extra courage to get in front of one more camera or to do one more interview even though they were very anxious and tired.

Well, yes, Felos is a sick, sick man.
It's not that I don't think that Randall cares. I just thought there might have been some grandstanding earlier.
But, then again, we are all filled with some sin.

Understanding that Randall Terry is a contraversial figure to some, I will say this much about him and his partner, Gary McCullough. They did the work of 10 men. I've never in my life seen so much energy and focus. It can be argued that media would have been covering the horrors of October anyway, but these guys used that vehicle to get a very important message out to the masses: we don't kill disabled people.

I don't wish to enter the debate as to whether fund raising in the aftermath of October is appropriate or not. People can decide for themselves on that score. But, being a witness to what went on, I can tell you without any hesitation that these men worked liked madmen to help Terri and her family.
