I know where the state could shore up the budget. They could cut the Department of Consumer and Industry Services and the regulatory section of FIA down to just about nothing. Talk about a power-hungry, obviously non-elected bureaucracy! They regulate businesses almost out of existence; and, they eat up a ton of the money (mostly businesses pay) we could enjoy in tax cuts, K-12 education, collegiate aid, etc.

I think the GOP house tried that and then Jenny got all up and arms and Sikkema restored the funding.
