Thanks. My Oz chum is from Perth. He thought it might be a delivery van at first. When I told him later it was a dumpster, he said he knew that, only it's more like a construction site bin. He says skip is also a derogatory nickname for an Aussie.

I presently live in a fairly Mexican neighborhood in Atlanta and I actually like it. My Spanish is improving (by necessity). The Mexicans are polite, respectful, and law abiding. They drive horribly -- too slow -- but that's my only complaint about them. I suspect they will assimilate well, eventually.

Muslims are another matter entirely.
