You paint a funny picture. But I have always had a funny sense of humor. I laughed throughout The Reagans last night, it was an absolute hoot.
I just picture you sitting down with these nuts (considerably less nutty given it was Pittsburrgh) and I just laugh. Were they like the cast of Thirtysomething sprinkled in with cast members from Queer Eye for the Straight Guy?

Nice report. Interesting that when challenged they did not come back hard at you on the FL election issue. The war issue was sort of trumped by you knowing someone who had lost their life but still holding your view. Tough to come back hard on someone in that situation as you sound like you are telling them the person they know died in vain.

Nice work, Badray. Surprising that they don't want Hitlery in the race.

They never showed the video that they brought. They gave it to me in the hopes of winning me over. Have you watched it yet? Wonder what they think would win people over to Weasley...Katie Couric naked?
Good report!

Very humorous. I have a lot of liberal friends and I just feel sorry for them- they are truly descending into madness in their hatred for Bush. It's non-logical, it's pointless trying to get them to see the light; the only thing you can do is sit back, laugh, and let them wallow it.

In conclusion, I doubt that, without lobotomies, there is any hope of converting any of these people. They really believe the democrat crap.
I am sorry to say, but I don't think lobotomies work on idiots.
To: Badray
One bright spot, when I mentioned Hillary, there was almost a spontaneous expression of hope that she would just go away
That's a surprise! I'll bet they'd vote for her tho. Well done, BR!
To: Badray
Well, I never vote for 'Rats, but I won't vote for Bush either.
I hate Big Stupid Republican Government and their overdrive spending and vote-buying scams. Who needs this crap?
You said it correctly: why waste my vote supporting someone whose policies I adamently oppose? Like a total lack of restraint on Big Stupid Republican Government - whatever happened to "limited government", anyway? He won't even veto the most outrageous assaults on the First Amendment or on our wallets.

Very interesting experience, IMO. You were honest that you are not a big Bush supporter, you aren't. Hey that's your opinion and your right to have it.
JMO, but any vote that you do not give to Bush is a vote to Clark/Dean/and the other dwarves. This election is to important to give the reigns of foreign policy to one of the dwarves.
If one of them wins, it's back to the Clinton days, where bombings and other terrorist actions will be excused instead of trying to kill the terrorist leviathan once and for all.

Good report - you still undecided on voting for Bush?

Boy, and I thought I was sacrificing just by paying attention to a Live thread about the SHowtime premiere of "The Reagans" (not watching it-- that would have been too inflammatory).
It sounds like they probably could tell you weren't a Democrat, what with the logic and all.
